I stepped up and wrote these people when they had made some ridiculous accusations and blocked whole countries and even went so far to block AMD. I saw they had what was supposedly a unit and tried to buy one.

I ordered a Laptop in May of 2025.

I communicated with the owner, Matthew Plott and he was cordial and thanked me for the trust.

It was already August when I was sick already but their price was crazy cheap for the best laptop on Earth and I was a complete idiot and paid ACH for a second unit which I was told would ship by the end of month.

When it did not ship the clown who answers emails, which I now assume was him, said I had only one order and cancelled the others. I had to show this chap where they literally took the initial credit card payment which I was too stupid to see earlier. He got all huffy and asked if I wanted to cancel both orders as it was $3850.00 of my cash they have.

It would have been comical if I was not giving the money to such an ingrate. The next email states yes we will refund your $3850.00 and never sends it.

Being a lazy one here we are 45 days later and I am still talking about it. They refused to credit the bank charge as I assume they lost the merchant account yet has the cajones to start a so called American made Laptop Company because he has IP on a clickety clack keyboard and touchpad acting like he invented the wheel.

At least Trust Pilot reports he is a criminal. Why NASA or Microsoft would buy from such a Clown is fitting actually. They are very much alike.

Still owes me $3850.00. do not do business with them.

I got an AonS1 about a year ago. It's a nice computer. At the time of purchase I spoke with a couple of people in sales. They were helpful and gave me a good deal.

However, since then I have been unable to contact them by telephone or email.

My laptop recently began having problems with the sound system. I submitted a support ticket on Jan. 2nd, and did not get a reply for a week. I tried to review the ticket online and was informed that it had been locked because of inactivity.

As far as I can tell there's no one there. My guess is that the business is failing. Avoid these guys.

Really Atrocious. They were >3 months late, never proactively communicated regarding the status of the order and were always terse and impolite in communication. When I finally cancelled my order, they immediately cancelled my customer account, so I could no longer communicate with them. 3 weeks later, no refund has been applied to my account and I have opened a dispute with the credit card company.

They're also losing their mind! In the past 6 months they've "banned" (will no longer ship to or support customers in): Colorado, Maryland, Poland, and Germany -- all based on a negative experience with the Coreboot project.

I'm pretty sure the whole company is just a Matthew Plott vanity project, that got lucky and landed a ZDNet review. I can assure you, they hold their customers in the lowest esteem imaginable, and will not value your business.

Separately, I had to work with two other Linux focused hardware distributors during this time: System76 and Tuxedo Computers -- and would highly recommend either over this company.

Avoid Malibal at All Costs!

My experience with Malibal has been an absolute nightmare. Not only was the product I received defective, but their customer service is shockingly unprofessional and downright insulting. After weeks of back-and-forth over a laptop issue they refused to address, they had the audacity to send me condescending emails

How dare you people be disrespectful to our god emperor, the lord himself? The owner of this "company" is a total bad ass. He is 500m tall, has 3 heads, 6 arms and 9 legs. He can spit fire and crush a pickup truck with 2 fingers. His IQ is so high that it went all the way to infinity and wrap back around to negative infinity. No one is worthy enough to buy anything from this place, so don't bother placing an order. It will be rejected. Good bye and go F yourselves.

Ordered a laptop in mid May with a July delivery date. Delivery date missed and helpdesk says "supply chain." No updates on when laptop will be delivered. September comes along an I cannot wait any longer so cancel the order.

Shame on me for not reading the fine print. If you don't cancel in 24 hours they get to keep 10% of the total order and refund will be processed in 5-15 business days. 20 business days pass with no refund and help desk basically says it could take longer.

I eventually filed a dispute with the credit card company and got a full refund.

I think this company is a scam. They take your order and string you along for as long as they can, collecting interest on your funds and hoping too much time passes for the CC company to accept the dispute.

Avoid at all costs.
