I ordered 2 supposedly handpainted cat aprons. They were $39 for one or 2 for $79.
They arrived. Cheap plastic. They looked like something from The Dollar store. I went to the post office to return the items and was told it would cost over $30. The company comes across very friendly. I'm sure they know you won't return because of the price and just pocket the money.

Submitted an order for the bat houses. Less than an hour later I emailed them to cancel. No reply. Sent another email a couple of hours later. Still no reply. Two days later I got an email the order was shipped. Sent another email and was told the order was shipped and cannot be canceled. I contacted credit card (amex) to dispute and was told essentially "too bad".

This company is fraudulent. They market handmade custom products- they are not! They are cheap plastic products mass produced in places like China! DO NOT BUY!!!

The product I got was something that looked somewhat similar, but was made out of something totally opposite of what it was supposed to be made out of it supposed to be made out of wood carved out of one piece handmade, and it’s made out of some kind of composite

This experience will hopefully teach me to do better research before I order from any company for the first time! I ordered what was advertised as a hand crafted wooden US flag. What I received was a poor quality photo of what might have been a wooden flag mounted on a piece of foam board. I was told I could return it to an address in Hong Kong (!!!!!) at my own expense for a refund. Otherwise they would refund me 25% of the purchase price. I requested the 25% to be refunded to my account within a week. We'll see what happens.

I ordered the Bat house, supposed to be handmade by Earl. Said it had slots between ceder sticks for bats to breath. I received a 5" by 9" box made in China with a nail gun. the ceder strips were glued onto a board so no airflow. The size is too small for bats to use, they need 16" by 24". Total scam.

I ordered two Amos’s bird houses. They said that they are made from solid wood. They’re made from plastic. They even lied about the measurements of the birdhouse. It’s a lot smaller than what they listed at. they said I could ship it back at my own cost, but I’m worried I would never get my money back and they offer me 25% off. Do not even think about buying from this company. It’s a scam.

Advertised solid wood hand carved birdhouse. Received plastic birdhouse. Completely false advertising and piece of garbage. This site is a scam.

This company has not delivered as promised. Advertised woman selling quited hampers. Never received it. Contcted their hiping department and they speak foreign. This must be a scam.

Purchased two Amos Hensley wood carved birdhouses on July 14th. Just received them from Marlow. They look exactly like on Amos’s web site, however they are not wood. You can’t carve plastic. Will keep them because it would cost more than their are worth. Beware of this company. We all know when it takes a month it is coming from China. If you want to buy something from China use TEMU. At least they are honest.

I ordered what was described as a carved oak birdhouse and received a mold from birdhouse shaped like the one I ordered. Following up, neither of the emails listed on the description page or order confirmation were real email sites. This is a SCAM!!

I wish I'd found this site before ordering my "hand carved" flags by Earl. I ordered 3 and they were a picture of a flag on foam board. Total scam company and after reading all the reviews I've given up hope of a return or refund. The trash is too good for them.

This company uses bait and switch tactics
They tell sad stories of poor Appalachian people being pushed out of their handcrafting business to get you to order. I made the mistake of ordering twice: once on JULY 28, 2026 and again on August 8,2026 because the first order hadn't come through. They use some weird shipping company called GOFO which is highly questionable. I did not do my due diligence and look them up. BBB lists Marlow Market Co as a scam. Their AI emailer, "Hazel", is quite realistic. It's all a big scam from China. Caveat Emptor-Buyer Beware.

Update on 8-10-26. I asked them twice to cancel my orders and issue refunds on 8-8-26. TWICE on the morning of 8-10, they said they were cancelling and refunding " because the order hadn't shipped yet". I received a verification email that they were, indeed, refunding me. THEN, later this afternoon they said they shipped it anyway! I got the same song and dance to return it unopened to the address on the package for a full refund. I told them I refuse to pay to return a scammed item to Hong Kong, that I'd be throwing it out. If they DID refund me, they'll just have to eat the cost themselves...the cost of being scammers! UNbelievable.

Is there less than one star? Do not purchase anything from this company! Complete false advertising of the products. The merchandise comes from Hong Kong and is not the product described. Total bait and switch! They say they will happily accept returns if you pay the shipping to return the item. Sending things to Hong Kong is not inexpensive. I do not trust I would receive the refund anyway. A total scam.

Just like another shopper, ordered a hand carved Flag, received a cheap form picture. Pure SPAM. Red Flag.

I would not buy anything from this bait and switch company, DO NOT ORDER THE AMERICAN FLAG BY A PATRIOT! You will end up with a plastic flag! What a rip off! They ship from CA and ask that you send back to Hong Kong to get refund for what they sent!

I ordered a “hand quilted” pillow case with a highland cow design. I received a cheap fabric case with a picture of a cow, not at all hand quilted. I asked for an address to return, it was Hong Kong and shipping cost was more than the original cost. AVOID THIS COMPANY, A SCAM.

AI website promoting hand made products that are cheap Chinese products. You will never receive the products advertised nor will you ever receive a refund. These scams sights are impossible to take down.

I ordered 2 items. A hand carved American flag made from barn wood. I received a poor picture on foam board. I ordered an outdoor metal art American eagle ornament to also include the pole and ground stake. I received a flat piece of metal cut out in the shape of an eagle with a sticker eagle on it. To return items you have to ship them back at your expense to Hong Kong.
