Just had one two hour lesson with Rafi and i got to know so much.All the mistakes i did during my lesson, i didnt do during my test and i passed it with just few minors.

Dear Mashaallah Driver Training,

I am writing to formally express my disappointment and frustration with the driving lessons I had with your instructor, Ali (Aliriza). My experience was far below the standard I expected, and I feel completely let down by the lack of professionalism and proper instruction.To begin with, Ali vaped during every single lesson, which was not only unprofessional but also distracting and inappropriate. As a learner, I needed a focused and supportive environment, but his behavior made me uncomfortable and hindered my ability to concentrate.
Worse still, Ali failed to communicate with me effectively or at all. He rarely gave clear instructions, never corrected my mistakes, and provided no constructive feedback. Even when I repeatedly struggled with parking maneuvers (which I booked extra lessons to practice), he showed no interest in helping me improve. Instead, he would simply say I was "ready for the test," even though I felt completely unprepared and lacked confidence.
His lack of communication and guidance meant I never truly developed my driving skills. I relied on his judgment and booked my test based on his misleading assurances, only to realise I was nowhere near test-ready. A good instructor should actively teach, correct errors, and ensure their student progresses—none of which happened in my case.
I am extremely unhappy with the wasted time, money, and effort due to Ali’s poor teaching and unprofessional attitude. I urge you to address this issue seriously to prevent other learners from going through the same negative experience.
I would appreciate a response regarding what actions will be taken to rectify this situation.

Passed First Time Thanks to Rafi!
I passed my driving test on the first try with only 18 hours of lessons—and I had absolutely no previous driving experience before starting. That says everything about how good Rafi is as an instructor.

Mohammad Afzal, my instructor, was absolutely key in helping me pass my driving test on the first attempt. His teaching style is calm, structured, and extremely effective. He knows the High Barnet routes inside out and made sure I was fully prepared for every part of the exam. His lessons were always professional, detailed, and tailored to help me improve where needed — including helpful notes to review at home. I felt confident and ready on test day, thanks to his excellent guidance.

I can’t thank my driving instructor Zakia enough for all the help and support she gave me. She was patient, encouraging, and made me feel comfortable. Zakia is very kind, she calmly explains what to do better and helped me build real confidence in my driving. And I passed first time. Thank you Zakia

I passed first time with Eylem, she was always patient with me and helped me touch up on things I weren’t confident on!

Passed first time with Eylem!! She is a great instructor, attentive, patient and very informative. I found driving very daunting and wasn’t very confident at first but with Eylem the entire process felt easy, my confidence improved and was able to pass first time. Would highly recommended Eylem to any learner.

Ali is the excellent instructor who helped me to get ready for the driving exam which I passed! I had just two lessons with Ali as I had already driving experience, but without his help I wouldn’t pass the exam. He knows everything - the usual routes, the structure of the exam, etc and all information he shared was very helpful. His approach is very professional and calm, he makes you believe in your abilities and at the same time he helps you improve your skills and knowledge more. Ali was also very helpful on the day the exam when I had an issue with the L plates. Thank you very much, Ali for your help and I can recommend everyone Ali as an instructor especially for those who have their driving test in High Barnet.

This review comes from the bottom of my heart with utmost gratitude for the amazing training, guidance and support Ari and the team at MDT provided which helped me pass my exam first time in Barnet. Ari was just out of this world, extremely professional, kind, courteous and a true mentor. Ari curated a perfect purpose-built schedule that worked well for me and was on time every time for the lessons. During the lessons Ari demonstrated a high degree of patience and worked with me at every phase to truly elevate my confidence. He instilled a sense of belief that I could pass first time throughout my time with MDT. MDT is the best driving company in london. My instructor was Ali Guler who is an amazing professional instructor. He will pass you first time trust my word!

I could not thank rafi enough after losing hope due to different driving instructor ripping me off and constantly failing, rafi helped me pass in only 2-3 lessons he is not about the money like other instructors he generally cares and will insure you pass. I have passed today. My experience with him was 10/10 definitely recommend him!!

I had previously chosen another driver training school and the teacher that i was paired with was very very rude and unprofessional which made me stress out and not able to learn after i had so many lessons.
When i decided to finally change driving schools and i found MDT the instructor Ali was very helpful and patient with me. He made me feel comfortable and confidenton my abilities. He was very calm and i managed to be a pro under 15 lessons- i passed my test on the first go and i am super confident driver now.
