The school's teachers have no idea about the American school curriculum. They treat the children in a Russian manner: giving orders, issuing commands, and raising their voices. They are intolerant of children who have difficulty understanding the material. The teachers themselves are forbidden from working elsewhere so that their materials are not used by others. Everything is very shabby. However, if you want to experience what it's like to be in a Russian school, this is the quest for you.

The school is called the Russian Mathematical School. The question immediately arises: why Russian, I live in the USA. What do they mean? I saw an online class: 14 students in a class, all from different schools. How can they unite 14 students who have different school programs? The class lasts two hours! Is it to earn more? It is known that the average student's working capacity is limited to 45 minutes. Half of the lesson is spent checking homework, the other half is spent studying. The problems they solve are more difficult than in regular American schools, but the methods for solving them are algorithms. You have to do it this way, but no one explains why. The lessons are boring, half the class does nothing at all. I asked the students a question that they could not answer, but they should have.
I would advise parents of students to hire private tutors - it will cost much less, and the quality of teaching will be higher.
