Poor leg laser hair results and care from clinic
I’ve had 11 sessions of laser hair removal on my legs using their Soprano Ice Platinum machine.
Despite previously having my bikini area treated with the same machine at the clinic with success, I’ve had poor results on my legs, leaving me disappointed with dark leg hairs.
I repeatedly voiced concerns to the practitioner (Jess) and emailed the clinic my concerns during my treatment (where I stated I hadn’t experienced hair loss like I had previously on my bikini). Despite this, I was frustratingly told I was being impatient and my results were normal and I’d see more hair loss after later sessions. I didn’t.
After emailing my disappointment in my results after 11 sessions, the practice manager (Charise) has responded that my results are typical and frustratingly told me my leg hair is fine when it’s clearly thick and dark in the photos.
I don’t think the machine was on the right setting or practitioner was using the right technique as I have experienced much better results with other practitioners at the same clinic using the same machine on my bikini and underarms. I think it’s worth noting that both other practitioners (Justina and Gina) who have successfully treated me have both used a different technique (going over the laser area whereas the practitioner who lasered my legs didn’t go over the area).
As I have also booked and paid for a course of under arm laser treatments with a different practitioner (Gina), I asked the clinic if she can complete complimentary sessions on my legs while she is treating my under arms. They have frustratingly refused.
I have not requested a refund and just want the results I know I can achieve. I have found their response condescending and unhelpful - please see attached screenshots.
If you want a clinic that cares about your results and is committed to working with you to achieve the best results, look elsewhere as they have failed to acknowledge any issue or offer any resolution. Instead, I found their response condescending and unhelpful. They fobbed me off and didn’t even agree to a review when I’m next in clinic.
It’s sad as previous staff at the clinic have always been helpful and caring and I have visited the clinic for many years.
