Metropolitan Police Avis 

I reported a theft to a Police Officer via phone that took place on an Arriva bus in Leicestershire. As expected the police did nothing like they usually do. Why is my tax money going to them??. They have never helped me whenever I've needed help. Apparently, pickpocketing is something they can't deal with, they won't request to check CCTV cameras on the Arriva bus because the item needs to be of a high value and oh yes you need to know who the suspect is too lol. If your cash, bag etc is stolen then don't bother calling them. They won't deal with it! Police Officer just took details only to be put on record, but the issue is still unresolved for me so not happy at all!! Absolutely diabolical service along with Arriva Customer Service being the worst!

I'm incredibly shocked to read the reviews on this page, I assumed that my poor experience was isolated but I was wrong:
I've reported harassment and stalking repeatedly over the past 10 years to Hayes police station. Perpetrator was an ex work colleague, he's started to turn up to my home address. These "professionals" have 0 care. I'm pretty disgusted at the lack of response. They've done absolutely nothing about it.
I work for the NHS and we're encouraged to report assault, abuse etc to the police, I simply don't bother anymore.
Metropolitan police's failings against protecting women are widely published. I'm so confused as to why nothing is done about this.
Why do we pay tax? Can we take matters into our own hands? Of course not because that would be a crime? As women experiencing a crime, should we stay indoors to keep ourselves safe?
Every police officer I've spoken to over the 10 years should be ashamed of themselves.

The police are now like some clowns. I reported a case of sexual harassment to the police in Edmonton and unfortunately my case was closed because of the unprofessional police officers, who were not able to take a statement from my harasser, even though I told them the address of my harasser countless times.

-Another case he is in touch with a constable from the thames valley police.
A police officer from the Thames Valley Police called me to intimidate me about a review that was not written by me and did not even have my name. He called me at the request of a lawyer, possibly a friend of the police officer, and gave me a number false case, telling me that there is a complaint in my name regarding that review.
I recorded the phone call with that policeman and after I made a complaint to the Thames Valley police, the complaint was investigated by another policeman, a colleague of that policeman. More recently, the Metropolitan police are investigating reviews instead of crimes. Because of these corrupt police clowns, London is falling. Until the police are changed, the crimes in London will be on the rise.
I notice more and more often how many policemen are investigated for corruption, rape, drugs and other illegal acts.

Dealing with MPS, SW has been the most awful experience in my life.Richmond upon Thames and Wandsworth area police including professional standards. A constable working for the officers, displaying an undeniable conflict of interest. A Constable was looking into a complaint against a Sergeant was there a particular reason - the colour of my skin ¿ incompetence ¿ racism ¿ this rude, biased, ignorant. This Constable resorted to torturing me for 7 months and continues to do so.
I complained about the period of 6-8 weeks where the case remained in touched and lies spewed to me. This professional standards Constable would have investigated officers from an inspector to Constable ranks for this report. No other institution would allow a junior to investigate quite senior officers unless corrupt? The criminals I believe were known, if not why would the inspector refuse to speak, email or meet with me what are they hiding? These criminals must be known to be favoured and no attempt to apprehend these violent home invaders and aggravated robbers were given time to get clean away. It was an extremely violent home invasion followed by an armed aggravated robbery., it seems to me that this attack, home invasion aggravated robbery was celebrated by MPS rather than investigated. Were they known to someone high up ¿ the team ¿ Were these criminals authorised by the Metropolitan Police Service ¿ Would anyone have received a cut ¿ is racism the only factor or a combination of other corruption ¿ Baroness Casey’s report of 2023 clearly found racism as a systemic problem.
Why did the investigators not visit the site of all this violence and theft? Why not ask for cctv footage that would help, rather than harass a neighbour who did not?
I was told I was not allowed to report a hate crime against a serving MPS officer why would the MpS make me wait till these racist cops were retired or dead. If the hate crime is being committed now, what is the reason I am not allowed to report the crime now.
2 got back to me saying the only choice was to make a complaint. And they said they had put in the complaints in my behalf. I never heard back from anyone not even an acknowledgment of the complaint. When I went back to ask what progress had been made, I was made aware that those complaints did bit exist. 4 tunes after that I have put in complaints directly and through the website and via the Mayors office. I wrote to the home office who sent them my complaints back. Now these simply do not exist.
The fish rots from the head down Sir Rowley’sand his office refused to reply to both my letter nor emails. Why would I expect. The Commander of SW region of MPS dd not reply nor did her office or her pa wh. Were directly to.
It’s no surprise that he detectives have no predict empathy wards victims, no respect, no decency and do not even investigate serious crimes.
I suggested a bit of innovation and combined working as my Constable Dplain and simple. There should be transparency within MPS. They do take home our tax money in small cases ridiculously high wages for the actual police work they actually do if any for Greater London citizens. and his Sergeant were mentally and physically disabled or were just racists, which is worse. The at I have been treated I have no doubt that it was due to some hatred towards me due to the colour of my skin. Of course cops can not be reported for hate crimes. Not one Constable, sergeant or inspector allowed me to report a hate crime. Explaining that I can only make a report on a citizen and nt a police officer.
No wonder, it has to get to kidnapping, raping and dumping bodies and it gets out will the Metropolitan Police Service decide to look into they’re own, their thin blue line is bigger than the wall of China once they call in the ranks.
Should you or I commit a crime, a report on a made and expedited. When a cop commits a hate crime they are celebrated and let off even after years with more evidence, eye witnesses however once this wall is formed no cop is allowed to testify or give details.
The MPS need to follow the equality act, police rivers need to d their jobs honestly and to a good standard, police officers need to realise that they are paid by citizens blood sweat and tears. We etc hard day and night to earn a decent living and pay our taxes. We earn and pay them. And in many cases far too much for their out put. The injuries we had included being knee capped, bounding in one eye, a broken nose, split ear, a couple of teeth missing and the nes left are broken in bits apart from 1. Spinal injury, a broken coccyx, 3 facial bones fractured the orbital bone too beyond repair.

2 Lady Officers attended to take reports of attacks & abuse .
Living in a type of sheltered accommodation , they all think we are irrelevant and drug users . Not me ! I am here because I’m OCD intensively .

They came and seemed under the influence of drugs pre-conceived agendas /judgement

Were they police or demons?

Absolutely not professionals some of them. After one situation with someone from Chingford Police Station, I will never trust no one from that department.

I reported a crime on 11.11,24 regarding my brother refusing to return borrowed items my chromebook and my house keys. They said its classed as domestic theft. They took dtls and forwarded a link to submit evidence which I did to a L Akthar. On 13.11.24 I contacted 101 for an update as I cannot leave the property due to my keys not being returned. I contacted again today as no email was sent advising what would happen next. I have found out it could be days before someone will be in contact as my case has yet to be allocated. So meantime the offender is able to get away unscathed with my items. I feel as though because it is a domestic theft it does not have any real sense of merit. It's as though they are saying why waste police time on something trivial.

I’ve called 101 so many times asking them to update me about my complaints. They never call back with an update like they promise to do. Call handlers are beyond disrespectful. They’d rather sweep it under the rug over do actual police work. And when you do complain it’s never their problem, it’s always another department who will call me back in 48 hours … and the cycle begins.

A thousand Thank you’s is all I can say! The police moved in swiftly whilst we were nearly being burgled and sorted everything out

They are amazing honestly

I tried to report things i'd experienced and witnessed such as kidnapping, trafficking, burglary, death threats etc. over the years but they would rather take the easier option and do nothing, shoot the messenger, lie or frame someone with made-up random accusations because you write complaints and end up having to investigate yourself. You cannot give them the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately the recruitment drive seems to have led to many new recruits that look and act like older versions of Bromley college kids, they seem to always side with whichever side has more people or are part of their culture or group.

What's worse than having no police is having a corrupt police force you cannot rely on, that protects organized fraud and crime because its easier and safer to frame someone who writes complaints about both police and the organisations.

Possibly the most useless police ever!!! They will not take anything seriously. DISGUSTING! I have been stalked, harassed and assaulted and they do absolutely nothing. I went to Chingford Police Station to report yet another crime, since it was a very sensitive subject, I requested for a female officer to speak with. I was promised that one would speak to me "shortly". I waited patiently for 2 hours!!! Nobody turned up. I was then misinformed by the officer there who said an appointment can be arranged for me to come at another time. FALSE! After I left the station, a rude female police officer called me on my phone stating "it doesn't work like that." Instead of actually helping me, she practically told me off. Erm, 2 hours of my time was wasted and this daft person has a go at me. By looks of it, it seems these people just abuse their position as an officer. DISRACEFUL!

Yet again the Met have dealt with rapes improperly. Ialso read half of them are corruptthemselves. Do not trust them at all.
Totally incompetent.

It is sad to see the one star for the Met. I thankfully don't have to call the police often but on a recent serious occasion, the police who arrived handled and defused a potentially volatile situation really well. I think we forget that it's a thankless job sometimes and we rely on them being around to protect us. Not all of them are professional in their approach but then would you confront riots or run towards the danger. Not me! .

So I can’t leave a review specifically for Colindale police station as it doesn’t allow me to on their Google reviews.

The police officers are completely unprofessional and don’t care to do their jobs properly.

We are still suffering due to our nightmare neighbour.

Instead of handling the situation professionally and being serious two lady police officers were laughing (probably generally) and gossiping with the neighbour about our personal business and why we moved into the area, which is not what we expected as this neighbour has been terrorising and emotionally abusing us since May 2024.

We are extremely dissatisfied with the police services and are not confident in calling them in the future.

Edit: one of the same police officers came the other day again (female officer) with a male officer and did not care to investigate multiple problems we are facing properly. Instead they tell you that matters are a ‘civil matter’.

These sorts of issues happen to other people too. The police in this country are incompetent at doing their jobs properly and actually supporting victims.

We made a report about our neighbour the other day but instead they favoured our nightmare neighbour and visited because of her complaint. Where’s our support??

London Police are unarmed , so they don’t involve much face to face with criminals , plus when they hear your forigen accent over the phone if you are reporting a crime then they don’t bother to turn up for you , they are the worse police ever , plus London losing control on crime .

I have had to deal with a partner with rapid onset dementia its awful. He's managed to escape and found by the police in Walworth South london, I just want to say a big thank you for looking after him keeping him safe and warm. I didn't get the PCs name THANK YOU SO MUCH
