Friendly and helpful staff. Good stock.
Staff were not pushy but greeted me on entry and when I asked they quickly helped me try the right size walking shoe, They had 3 good options in brown leather just the ticket.

Jennifer and Clare were absolutely ace, attentive and knowledgeable when we visited twice in a week for wellies and walking boots. They both made the experience smooth and easy, happy 12 year old so easy life!! Thank you so much to you both

Friendly and helpful staff
The staff were both extremely helpful and friendly. I tried some fleeces on but needed different sizes so a staff member got them for me. I bought three fleeces (two Peter Storm and one Craghopper). They were on offer and great value.

Terrible Assistant Shouting At Me
I was in Millets shopping yesterday in Hexham, there were two assistants serving and the younger of the two took my item off me, while the older assistant (Assistant 2) serving someone that was in front of me, so I was looking at the assistant who I thought was serving me, and all of a sudden the older lady shouting at me saying let me see if this works, for the 3rd time, and this is what got my attention, I couldn't believe it, I said sorry but I thought I was being served by the other lady, she totally embarrassed me in front of everyone in the shop, she has a bad attitude, and I will be making a complaint to head office about her.

Great service in Hexham
My husband and I were visiting Hexham recently and passed this store. Looking for a new waterproof jacket, he decided to go in. Even though it was only a small store it carried a large range of varied stock. There was only 1 lady member of staff on the shop floor and she was obviously kept busy replenishing stock and dealing with customer enquiries. We found a jacket he liked, but not a size so asked if there was one in stock. A quick stock check told us that there was one and another member of staff brought it down to us, He stayed and helped my husband to try on the jacket, check the sizing and fit - really helpful as he's disabled and it's sometimes difficult. The jacket was perfect. A big thank you to 2 very friendly, well informed...and very patient staff. Great ambassadors for your store in Hexham - I'm just sad, that being so busy, I didn't get to see their name badges so I could name them properly - they were excellent!
