Millets - Newark Avis 

Visited Newark store 1480 this morning with an issue and was served by two very friendly and very helpful ladies named Jessie and liljass it was a breath of fresh air they were so helpful and a credit to millits as an organisation will definitely use them again and will pass it on to my family

Indoor Shooting Stick: I was looking for a very small footprint chair or stool that I could use indoors - hence the shooting stick idea. I went into the Newark Millets and spoke to jessie. she got the idea and showed me a small (non-sticky) tripod idea that actually fits the bill perfectly - and was only a tenner! double win! thank you for your help.

Bought a fleece and a monocular today. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly, if I may say so a cut above the rest! A real pleasure to buy from.

Nicole (covering from Lincoln blacks) was exceptionally helpful in helping me find appropriate shoes for work :)

Needed new walking boots. Rebecca was incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable. The boots were great from the first hike and no blisters with weeks of hiking in Scotland including Ben Nevis. Thanks Rebecca

I already know what I wanted to buy before getting to Millets and that they were in the current sale.However I couldn't find the boots I wanted ! I asked the lady at the desk (Vicky) and she helpfully found them for me, the manufacturer had re branded them. So I finished up with a pair of North Ridge Lite Hikers and I'm very happy with them

Went in to browse and look at the boots in time for winter. Jessie was there to answer all my questions and I left having learnt a lot. Would recommend to anyone.

Popped in to Millets today with my 82 year old Dad to get him a new coat... he was on his mobility scooter and we had the dog in tow too! What a lovely bunch of people working there! Vicky, Jessie and Ciara could not have done more to make us feel welcome... from opening the door for my Dad to get his scooter in (and back out!), to giving the dog a treat and helping us find the perfect coat! They are the loveliest people and we'll definitely be popping back.. with the dog as she especially loved the treats and fuss! 5 stars all round. Thanks so much 🥰

Eveytime I come in to store the manager is always on the phone making personal calls talking about her cat, continuously showing photos of said cat which I find unprofessional I came to look for boots but instead got pressured to look at photos of this animal. She’s not very good at servicing her costumers!

Looking for a new pair cheap walking shoes. I have big feet and they are not in the best of condition...age takes its toll..!! Millets had plenty of options.
