Great customer service

Confirmed on the phone they had gaiters in stock. Were happy to exchange gaiters when the first ones I bought were not ideal for me.

Easy ordering and good communication when item was in store for collection.

Attended to as soon as I walked in without any pressure or expectation by the staff. Very helpful and easy mannered staff who make using the store easy. I found exactly what I was looking for and progressed through the checkout smoothly without issue. Superb store with magnificent customer service. One of the last outdoor stores left. I recommend visiting, one of the best stores in the local area.

This is a fantastic store. It is more of a community cornerstone than simply a shop - the staff are incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I bought some trail shoes and walking boots here this week and felt well-informed about each of my purchased items despite them obviously being for different activities. There is nothing else comparable in the local area in terms of stock and service provided, and given the outdoor activities locally it feels like the town really needs this store. Gutted to hear they’re been earmarked for closure - I hope JD Sports plc sees sense and keeps it open! The fact the Millets brand has a 4 star trustpilot rating overall but this individual store scores a 4.9 speaks for itself!

My order was in store next day. Couldn't ask for better.

Great service (second to none) and knowledgable staff. I popped in to replace some hiking boots. I told the helpful assistant my requirements - and he knew what would work for me. I used them today on a 10 mile hike and they were great. I will always use this store for footwear, shame Scarpa are no longer stocked, but the North Ridge are so far, equally as good (stood up to bogs, and rivers, and didn’t let any water in).

I was needing a new pair of walking boots, called in at Millets, Whitehaven. What great service, loads to choose from. Nothing was too much trouble for the assistant, up and down bringing me all different sizes of boots, explaining differences in Makes and sizes.
Also made sure I was fully comfortable with what I purchased. And very Competitively priced.
Couldn’t ask for more.

No delivery fee, polite staff member, quality item

Ordering online fairly simple. Confirmation of order good. Did download app to see where order was but felt could have done something themselves. Order arrived at shop ok and within expected timescale. Was polite when phoned up the shop to confirm order was there and when was going to pick up. Order was quick to hand - shop had them in good location. Had to be prompted that two parcels. Shoes both correct sizes and still fitted well. Wait to see if still as long lasting as usual and consider value for money. Would order again.

Quality product, I ordered the brasher mens pants, can't remember model, excellent price too, unfortunately I ordered the wrong size so took them back to my local shop (Whitehaven. Cumbria)
The manager and young man in the shop were fantastic. They could not have been any nicer. 10 out of 10 for them. Cheers guys.
