Milton Keynes Veterinary Group Avis 

Sadly, we recently had to say goodbye to our beloved cocker spaniel, Marnie. She had several health problems and so was a regular at the vets.

I would like to say a big thanks to the Milton Keynes Veterinary Group, particularly the Stony Stratford branch, as you have always been so helpful and friendly. Especially in Marnie’s last couple of weeks/months.

The biggest thanks, however, goes to Joanna Davies. She has been the most incredible vet we have ever met. Marnie came to Joanna with many issues, and in considerable pain, but Joanna did everything in her power to give Marnie the best possible life under the circumstances. She took so much time and care with Marnie, building a connection with her and us. Marnie’s quality of life was increased dramatically, and we got our happy dog back. Although not the long life we would have hoped for, Marnie was given a chance to enjoy the rest of the life she did have. We really cannot thank Joanna enough, not only did you give Marnie the best quality of life possible, but you gave our family, invaluable quality time with our beloved dog.

Recently visited Whaddon Way surgery for my dogs annual booster which is covered under a monthly plan. Both the receptionist & Vet who we saw were so friendly. My appointment was on time & I was able to have a good chat to the vet about concerns I had with ongoing arthritis care. Always a good experience & would highly recommend.

I find all the staff, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The Pets app is very easy to use.

Excellent service, staff are always helpful and polite, vet always makes the dogs feel at ease. I have been using them for nearly 30 years and have never had any issues, would recommend them.

Ava's first visit was almost a disaster as she doesn't like going to the vet, wouldn't enter, slipped her lead and did a runner..vet staff came out and helped catch her and delivered her yearly jab outside so as not to stress her further... above and beyond I'd say!!

My pet received excellent treatment and was made to feel comfortable before her treatment began. I have been using Milton Keynes Veterinary Group for over 30 years and I have always found them to be kind, helpful and understanding both to my pets and myself.

I had been visiting MKVet for my dog's dermatological problems. Every time I phoned to make an appointment, I asked to see the dermatologist; they made the appointment, and I attended with my dog. On my last visit, while paying my bill, I was told that the person treating my dog was not qualified as a dermatologist. Having paid a lot for drugs and treatment, I was upset, so I complained about the treatment. They showed me the door. I organised an appointment with a proper dermatologist who arranged for me to visit the Walnut Tree practice. I got an email from this chap who told me that he could not see me at Walnut Tree. I would have to travel to Chipping Norton to see him at the cost of £430 for a consultation. MKVet had refused him permission to see my dog at their practice. How petty is that? It's a disgrace. Don't take your pets there; they don't care. They just want to fleece you. So stay away.

Annual check up and vaccination with vet went smoothly, all my queries answered, professional and friendly.

Lovely vets really made sure my dog was happy looked after vet nurse was just wonderful,kept us updated aftercare was fab!

Milton Keynes Veterinary Group is an independent vet practice that you can trust. Our pets have been looked after by them for over 20 years, and have always received personalised care and support. Highly recommended if you want a genuine relationship with those who look after your pets.

My visit to Stony Stratford surgery was only for Gus’s annual jabs but although the surgery was quite full with several other dogs, the seating is arranged in such a way that there is plenty of separation. Callum attended to Gus and he was very gentle and professional throughout and offered good advice too.

I was really impressed by the way the vet dealt with my cat as he was very stressed and likely to lash out. Everything was very calm and not hurried. We had a good conversation about a number of issues related to his health, and I felt the vet was happy to take the time to talk things through, and offered advice which no previous vet had given. I feel confident about returning to this practice after having had not such great experiences at other veterinary practices in Milton Keynes. I’ll definitely be recommending it to friends and family.
