And the scam continues...!
Since my first report, and despite the empty promises from their side officially here below, I've tried to contact MonsterMegs multiple times through all channels, all in vain, no reply, no response. The record of all attempts are with me if anyone likes to see how they handle customers
My money is with them for month! zero service, zero communication. The obvious question from day one is why you took money if you can't provide the service ? and why not to refund the customer under these circumstances.
Shame

At least they accept bitcoin and I got the domain anonymously. Not too many places are doing that.

I only have a hobby site, but I've always received friendly and patient tech support with my many questions. Dashboard is easy to navigate, billing and payments are easy. Publishing is simple.
The friendly AND VERY helpful tech support! I LOVE MonsterMegs.
We bought a semi-independent server, but for some reason our site speed was slow like shared hosting, even when there were 20-30 visitors, technically there is no comprehensive help and I think the whole team is 1 person. When you want to close a duplicate service, you can never get a refund, I closed the process with 2 years of bad experience and commercial loss. When you want to get a refund, they stop responding, because they didn't delete my credit cards, they plan to get a payment again after 1 year (no, I won't forget and I will complain to the court)
Update: Do not be funny! Because you directly deleted my account and you don't even respond via e-mail.
Update: A few years later, I saw another ridiculous reply from you, as I already mentioned in my first message! The server is good enough for a few visitors, then? It's a mess!

You should give a reason, instead of just deactivating, I have changed my contact information as requested, but you still blocked my domain directly, is this reasonable?If I used false information, you shouldn't have paid me, why did you take my money and then ban me???

Most importantly, the server has been reliable with no memorable down time in the last decade. I mean that literally: I'm sure there has been some service disruptions, but I honestly don't remember them. When we need help, support staff is super fast and thorough--even for non-urgent issues.

I had very frustrating experiences with two other hosting services before I found MonsterMegs. They had a plan that fit me well at a reasonable price. I only raised one support ticket, and they helped me resolve that. Everything works great, and the sites are faster than the wind.
I've been running the newirishart.com website for over 21 years and have had experience with a number of hosting providers but, from the moment I decided to move the website over to MonsterMegs, everything became so much easier. Along with achieving strong performance figures on Google's Lighthouse test (newirishart.com is content heavy, being 98% images) I also found their rapid response to any query to be professional and prompt. New Irish Art has been with MonsterMegs for a few years now and the experience and price is still the best.
I was a buyer of IT services in a past life for a big company. I looked at many hosting options to replace GoDaddy who wanted to charge me more for moving from Starlight to Cpanel (like that's my call?) and generally went to hell after Bob Parsons sold it, so I loaded up the truck and moved to MonsterMegs. Never a single regret. You get a very good value, great uptime, great features. However if you are running obscure applications or want handholding, you might want a local expert to augment the support. MM support is responsive but not omnipotent. MM seems to fit with very simple hosting or very experienced clients. Rock solid availability. Softlicious is a mindblowing capability if you've ever had to stand up an application. The technical support response time is very good, but if you are a total noob trying to do advanced things, hire a freelancer to help you.
Excellent service, hardware and uptime. I was with my previous service for 4 years and reluctant to change, but needed to because my website load speed was deteriorating on the server side. Before leaving, I ran a test website on another provider, but not happy with service. Then I ran a test side on MonsterMegs for 60 days and found a fantastic service. I requested help twice from tech support and was expecting them to point me to a diy article. Instead, they just went ahead and made to adjustments I needed. The servers are fast. C-panel is typical and easy to use.
After being disappointed with my prior host, I switched my website (darkwellstudios.com) from its original web host over to MonsterMegs in 2012. From the onset, the website performed significantly better, and the hosting was reasonably-priced. At the same time, I revamped the site and came across a number of technical challenges regarding which I contacted the MonsterMegs support team--their responses were always surprizingly quick, and they resolved my issues almost instantaneously. This was a huge change from my prior service.
Although it has been years since I'd reached out to them, day after day I've found that my website continues to perform well and aside from very occasion maintenance (which is brief and communicated well in advance), has remained online continuously since.
I am absolutely please with MonsterMegs and have recommended them to anyone seeking a web host.
I come to review Monstermegs host. I feel they are really great host. English is not first language and sometimes it hard to understand them and me. They patient when ticket responses sometimes difficult to explain.
Service is really good for 3 years now. Fast hosting and friendly. I am very happy with MonsterMegs.
After many years of good and not so good experience with various hosting providers, my decision to stay with one is based on one thing: costumer service. MonsterMegs is not the cheapest, but is among the most reliable hosting, and their costumer service is where they shine the most. It is very responsive and people are very knowledgeable. I have never left waiting for an answer just to get a generic one. It always feels like I communicate with real people (like friends, if I may say so) who give their best effort to solve a problem. And they know how to solve it in the least needed steps!
Not the cheapest, but that's not a bad thing. That extra dollar or two will get you outstanding support and fast/reliable servers. I drop a ticket and it's not only in a timely manner, but you get a very detailed and professional response. Whenever an issue or upgrade is coming, they will let you know in advance. My other big likes with MonsterMegs are that they try to stay up to date with the best technology and hardware. I think it was last year that they upgraded their CPU and RAM with very little to no downtime and it didn't raise my bill. Sweet deal I say! I love to stay hosted with a smaller company where they value you as a customer with a little personal touch to it.
A friend recommended MonsterMegs to me, and I couldn't be happier. It was incredibly easy to purchase my domains and to set up hosting. I'm really pleased with the amount of storage provided and the number of services. It was especially important to have SQL and PHP support, and that aspect has worked very well for me. The few times I've run into problems, the team at MonsterMegs has been very helpful. I'm really pleased with my elegantlexicon.com domain, and have plans to set up more in the future.
I have been with Monstermegs now for around 3 years. We purchased their R-Basic plan back then and began our journey as a hosting reseller. When we started our hosting business, we were very green and had a lot of questions for their staff. I bet within the first month, we opened around 10-15 tickets with a load of annoying newbie questions. Their staff was very patient with us and answered each and every question we had. I am sure they were growing impatient with our rookie questions, but they always stayed professional and never complained once. The questions were answered completely and I feel they went above and beyond to answer some questions in great detail.
Fast forward 3 years and we have upgraded 3 time now. We are now on their R-Premium plan and have around 80 cpanel accounts. Our clients are extremely happy with the server performance and the that led to more and more customers for us.
We are now looking to expand our hosting platform and will be purchasing another reseller in their Netherlands location. We expect this time around that it will be a walk in the park. No more newbie questions this time. We can only expect this reseller will perform just as good as the U.S. reseller.
To sum things up. Monstermegs is not just another host that is only in it for the money. The show their customers they care and they do a damn good job keeping things running smooth for us and their other customers. We don't have any plans of changing hosts. Why would you when you are with the BEST!!!! :)

Plans and prices are very convenient, you can start with a monthly basis plan and the change to a yearly plan with an even better price. Totally affordable and worthy of his value.
The best features I can found here and totally missing in other web hosting companies are: multiple domain management, automatic SSL certificates, multiple FTP accounts, autoinstallers for the most common apps including Wordpress. Automatic backups, shell access, and much more. The best web hosting I found.
