Chipperfield Ride-On Mower. Brilliant service
Easy to order and items arrived very quickly. The mower itself is compact but surprising powerful. The staff we very helpful as they updated their website whilst on the phone to allow us to also purchase the battery charger which was showing out of stock when we were looking to order.

The initial order was easy
The initial order was easy. Having accepted it, supplier called to say out of stock. However, git very similar mower, different make but same factory at same price even though listed as more money. So far so good. TNT then alienated me by saying they tried to deliver when cctv showed they had not, had delivered according to helpline when gad not according to suppliers info and when they did final deliver the box was beaten up and wide open. Mow Direct did pretty well, but they need to change courier and be prepared to be accountable for the delivery as well as despatch.

On looking at your order i can see that you changed from the Efco to Oleo Mac which do indeed come out of the same factory one being red the other orange. They are both very good machines and im sure you will be very pleased with the one you have received. Unfortunately because these are dispatched directly from the UK Distributors we have no control over the couriers, we don't normally have an issue with TNT so please accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Great came on time . Couldn’t work out how to put it together because I have never had a mower like this. Gave them a call . Very impressed. Was answered straight away and passed to one of the technicians. He said what he thought it was but asked us to send photos. He came straight back and told us what to do and sent photos. Great will definitely us this company again. 5 stars.

Great personal service
I attended their shop in Sandy Beds to purchase a lawnmower. Ben was very helpful with my enquiry. They built it up for me and put oil and a some petrol in so I could use the mower straight away. Great service.
The mower is the basic model for use on the allotment. It is very quiet and easy to use.

Scarifier that didn’t arrive!
Purchased the Stiga scarifier whilst on sale. Received purchase invoice and money taken from my account.Got a call Monday morning to say it was out of stock , no restock date . Was also informed when restocked it would be £250 dearer that I would have to pay. Phone call to Stiga and they had stock availability. Called mowers direct back and they would not honour the order.
Won’t use this company again.

2nd time ordering a mower with this…
2nd time ordering a mower with this company. Had an issue with the delivery, when I spoke to Sally Large on the phone to find out what was going on, she was rude, unhelpful and generally dismissive of my problem. Instead of taking onboard my concerns and trying to help resolve them, she exuded an attitude that made me feel that she could not be bothered with me and the sooner I went away the better. A course on customer service would be a good starting point, or other paying, loyal customers will be finding other suppliers as I will be, when the time comes to renew.

Im sorry if you feel i was rude and unhelpful however we send out between 10-20 pallets every day and all the customers get the email that you received advising that all our pallet deliveries are a book in service and that once your machine arrives at the local depot they will contact you to arrange a convenient day for delivering, you advised you had received the email and read it but had not taken on board what was written, also the local depot had tried calling you in the morning on the mobile number that you had provided on your order and left you a voicemail which you had not picked up by 4.30pm on the same day.

Staff at mowdiect were really helpful, bearing in mind I had major issues with my order it was sorted promptly and proactively. Delivery man Alex, was super helpful as only my daughter was home to receive the mower!
