SCAM
It told me to find the rule where the example was 1+?=-4, and there were three blanks to fill out. I used the pattern +1 -6 for each of them, and it said the answers were wrong, though they weren't. I double checked with a teacher. Therefore, Mymaths scammed me and made me do extra work to be able to submit the homework due to it being stupid and not knowing patterns, forcing me to do unpaid child labor. BAD WEBSITE
Depression.
I used this website a few years ago. This was genuinely one of the most horrible, boredom-bringing, depression creating, mental state-destroying, burnout conceptualising maths website I have ever had the misfortune of even gazing at. It's all so ridiculously boring and isn't even that good for studying. Just use flashcards and self-quiz yourself; it's not worth your time or mental state to use this.
DUMB WEBSITE
TS IS THE WORST WEBSITE I HAVE EVER LAID MY EYES ON IT IS GENUINENLY HOORRRRRIBLE I HATE IT ITS SO BAD HONESTLY IM ASHAMED OF MY SCHOOL FOR USING THIS THIS WEBSITE IS SOOO CRAPP!!! PEE PEE POO POO WEBSITE DELETE THE WEBSITE NOWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!
What went wrong is tNOT LETTING ME PUT CORRECT ANSWERhat I'm doing a my…
What went wrong is that I'm doing a my maths exercise, and my maths is only letting me type 2 digits, and the answer was 120. So, as you can see on the picture below, I tried putting 12.
Awful organisation to do homework on
So bad i clcked a topic and it gave me…
So bad i clcked a topic and it gave me a different one!

making the most uncomplicated shit, more complicated. just lemme do it my way
the submit button does not work
the submit button does not work, making it impossible to complete an hours homework!
Horrendous experience
You really really really need to employ someone who knows a bit about user experience to actually make your web site usable. A maths website which cannot accept mathematical symbols in responses? And doesn't save answers already entered? What were you thinking? This crock is many hundreds of bugs away from behind ready for live.
it sucks@!!!!!!!!!
THIS WEBSITE IS THE WORST THING EVER
THIS WEBSITE IS THE WORST THING EVER, I LEFT MY WORK THERE ONLY FOR AROUND 10 MINUTES TO DO MY MATHING ON PAPER AND THEN IT SAID THAT I HAVE TO RELOAD THE PAGE. WORST OF ALL, IT RESET ALL THE QUESTIONS WHEN I RELOADED AND I HAD TO DO IT ALL AGAIN. TOTAL TRASH WEBSITE, ALWAYS TELLING TEACHERS TO DO IT BUT IT IS CRAP. ALWAYS WITH NOTIFICATIONS AND I AM NEVER GOING TO EVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE USE THIS WEBSITE AGAIN PLEASE DO NOT USE IT
MyMaths practically can make something…
MyMaths practically can make something as simple as 1 + 1 difficult enough that it makes calculus look easy as pie. They must have potato security in the backend too, as it seems to be every time I log onto MyMaths I get an "account found in security breach" pop-up! Half of the questions I get on MyMaths don't even make sense half of the time either. all of it makes me want to go back to the days of Sumdog (the Flash one before they put those ugly 3D avatars in it) and Education City where Maths homework was actually fun for once.
Avoid
It's not made for students at all, teachers need to go back to paper homework. Digital isn't always better nor can it do everything.
mathwatch.
That first night, as rain lashed at his window and thunder bellowed in the distance, Miles hesitantly navigated Mathswatch. He began with seemingly routine problems—algebraic puzzles and calculus conundrums. However, as he progressed, the equations mutated before his eyes. At first, it was small anomalies: numbers that defied arithmetic and symbols that shimmered unnaturally. Then came the perturbing moment when the on-screen formulas began to rearrange themselves into what appeared to be cryptic incantations. The site’s digital voice, a tremulous whisper in a language that defied comprehension, murmured through his speakers as if reciting an arcane formula. The gentle glow of his monitor was suddenly punctured by flashes of red and black, and Miles’ heartbeat pounded in tandem with the staccato rhythm of unsettling code.
Over the following weeks, Miles found himself returning to Mathswatch, compelled by an irresistible need to solve the puzzles that now seemed to beckon him toward something hidden—a truth written in the language of numbers. Each problem he solved unspooled another thread of the site’s mystery. Peer-reviewed homework answers were replaced by endless sequences of fractals that hinted at dimensions beyond our own, and integrals that, when computed, ticked away like a malicious countdown. Rumors began to swirl among students of an urban legend: that Mathswatch was not created by a benevolent educator but by a brilliant mathematician whose obsession with unlocking the mysteries of the universe had led him into forbidden realms. Some said he had embedded his dark research into the very code of the website, cursing it with equations that were not meant for mortal minds.
Miles’ nights were no longer for sleep but for deciphering the malignant puzzles that haunted Mathswatch. The problems grew increasingly complex and disturbing. One problem, an integral wrapped in a hyperbolic sine function, began spitting out dates and names that corresponded to unsolved disappearances at his school. Another assignment featured a recursive algorithm that produced an endless loop of prime numbers; these primes, when concatenated, formulated a phone number that rang in the dead of night with a distorted, doleful tone. Soon, unexplained glitches plagued his computer: static images scrolled across his screen, depicting eerie, spectral faces lurking within the matrix of digits. It was as if the website's code had transcended mere computation—its algorithms had become a conduit for something ancient, something hungry.
One fateful night, as Miles wrestled with an equation that seemed to pulse with demonic life, Mathswatch’s interface transformed completely. The white background bled into darkness, and the familiar menu dissolved into swirling mists of binary. The website began forcing his attention onto a singular, unsolvable equation, one that defied logic and arithmetic, demanding an answer as though it were a sacrament. With trembling fingers, Miles typed in potential solutions, each keystroke accompanied by a low, guttural sound that resonated from the speakers. As he neared what he thought was the answer, an overwhelming pressure built around him—a sensation of being overwhelmed by an infinite series of calculations, each one echoing the despair of a thousand lost souls.
In that moment, time and space twisted. The boundaries between his reality and the digital nightmare of Mathswatch crumbled. Equations started to materialize in the air, glowing with a malignant light, as if his room had become a portal to a realm where mathematics dictated the laws of existence—and nonexistence. Faces in the static of his video streams smiled cryptically as spectral hands reached out from the screen. The final equation, a summation unlike any other, beckoned Miles to conclude the calculation. But as he keyed in the final digit, the room erupted in a cacophony of distorted voices reciting complex theorems that triggered a chain reaction of terror. Each theorem was a curse, disintegrating the veil between the digital and the ethereal, leaving him entrapped in a labyrinth of horror from which there was no escape.
Even if your answer is correct it can mark it wrong.
Even if your answer is correct, it can mark it wrong if you didn't do it THEIR way. I had to do a pie chart with a 180 degrees sector. I just did a line straight across through the centre (a diameter) but mymaths kept deducting 1 mark. To get the mark, I had to draw TWO lines from the centre (radii) at an angle of 180 degrees! If you were doing it on paper, you would never do it that way!
Reset button doesn't work
Whenever I try to reset something by pressing the red button, it doesn't work so I have to delete everything to reset it. 😡
it may save a techer 5 hours of time but it adds 10 hours for the kids.
It dosen't save your work if you start it and sometimes you just get exited from it. It's so stupid how you have to keep pressing on the boxes and you can't use the arrows on your computer. It may save a techer 5 hours of time but it adds 10 hours for the kids. At the end of every work sheet it says 20/20 then it says your marks were not saved please try again.
The only good things are the games!
HORRID EXPERIENCE
I recently encountered a frustrating issue with MyIMaths while trying to complete my school homework, and I feel compelled to share my experience. I was diligently working on a set of assignments for my math class, feeling confident as I tackled the problems one by one. Just when I was about to submit my work, the platform glitched. The screen froze, and despite my efforts to refresh the page, I was met with an error message. To my horror, all my progress had been wiped clean. Hours of hard work vanished in an instant, leaving me in a state of utter disbelief. This experience has left me feeling frustrated and disillusioned with MyIMaths. Educational tools should enhance learning, not hinder it. If you rely on this platform for your homework, be prepared for the possibility of glitches that could erase your hard work. I sincerely hope that improvements are made, as students deserve a reliable and supportive learning environment.
