Unacceptable let down from nanny tax…

Nanny tax are not as professional and on top of things as they should be!! This experience with Nanny tax goes a way beyond disappointing…

My last job came to end at the end of November last year and my employer has requested my P45 at the begging of November. I called Nanny tax on 3rd of January to request copy of my P45 as I still haven’t received it and thought it got lost in the post to only find out to my utter disbelief and shock they only issued it on 2nd of January!!!! This has resulted in HMRC still registering me as employed for the month of December and me not getting any financial help from UC to pay my rent for the month of December! To this day I still don’t know if my P45 has been submitted to HMRC yet or not. When I call nanny tax I’m always told that the person that deals with this is not available. I had to chase Nannytax keep calling them back as no one was getting back to me swiftly, even so it was very urgent and needed to be dealt with immediately. Nanny tax caused me a great deal of stress, frustration and financial difficulty. This is not acceptable from a professional payroll agency. They should know better how important these things are and the reason why they need to be done on time. Unfortunately I will not recommend them and will try to steer my future employers away from using them.

I had an issue with a nanny share arrangement that Nannytax were fantastic at helping me resolve. In particular, I spoke to Lewis from the Payroll team - he was incredibly helpful/patient as he talked me through the payroll position.

I have only just signed up the service but have been so impressed with the support service provided to date.
