National Driving School Avis 

I did a few lessons with Chris after my 12 EDTS to get me ready for my test. I couldn’t recommend him enough. He covers everything in detail and leaves no stone unturned. He is enthusiastic and very positive which helps you get into the right mind-frame for when you drive. He ensures that you pass and can drive safely. He is suitable for all levels of driving and i’d defo recommend going to him if your looking to pass your test asap

I had a great experience with the NDS and Fergal as my driving instructor. He is a great teacher who I would highly recommend. His manner always put me at ease during the lessons. He was always very honest with his feedback if there was anything I needed to work on, but he would always be so encouraging too. He has a great way of explaining driving concepts that makes them real easy to understand. He was always really interested in how I was progressing as a driver. Going into my driving test, I couldn't have felt more prepared thanks to the lessons Fergal provided. It made me feel really relaxed on the day of the test and I passed it first time around - because there were no surprises on the day thanks to Fergal. Would give 100 stars if I could!

Very impressed with the National Driving School! My son learned to drive last summer with Keith and quickly improved, becoming a confident driver. Keith was very flexible with lessons, and the length of time in which my son learned to drive was remarkably quick.

For his pre-test, we contacted Fergal, another instructor with the National Driving School, as I thought it would be good for him to have someone who didn’t know him to do the pre-test. Again, Fergal was an absolute pleasure to deal with, very patient, accommodating and encouraging and did a few pre-test sessions with him.

My son went into his test feeling very confident about the process and was delighted to pass. However, as a mother, what I’m most pleased about is that, with the help of the National Driving School and both Fergal and Keith, he has become such a capable, responsible and safe driver. That’s what gives me the greatest peace of mind, and I couldn’t be happier with the driving tuition he received.

Highly recommend Andrew as a driving instructor! I took lessons with him through the scheme for foreign licence holders, and he was professional, patient, and very helpful. He gave me great tips specific to my chosen test centre and helped me feel much more confident for the test. Not only a great instructor, but also a great person and friend. Thank you, Andrew!

I did a mock test with Clodagh the day before my driving test and it really put me at ease. She was so kind and helpful. She gave me tips and pointed out what mistakes to avoid all while instilling such confidence in me and without adding to the nerves. Everything was communicated so clearly and she answered all my questions. I’m certain that It’s thanks to Clodagh I passed the following day. I highly recommend booking in!

I had such a lovely experience with Chris from Dun Laoighre. He went above and beyond for me 🥹.
He really took time to understand me and how my brain worked and helped me pass my test!
He was very accommodating when renting his car for the test as mine broke down a week beforehand and squeezed me in when he could.
He really believed in me and helped me believe in myself. (I really thought I wouldn’t pass) but with his confidence and guidance he really helped me get through 🥹

Passed my driving test on the first try thanks to the National Driving School. My driving instructor, Andrew, was fantastic! Can't recommend them enough!

I previously failed my driving test in a manual, so I switched to automatic. As I didn’t have my own car, I hadn’t gotten enough practice and was unprepared for some of the obstacles that can come up. This time, I put in the hours driving my mam’s car, and the results showed!

A huge thank you to Clodagh for having so much confidence in me, which gave me confidence behind the wheel. Even if you have to sit your test a few times, NDS will identify your mistakes and prepare you to pass. I only received 3 Grade 2s, which shows how high their standard of driving is. They really prepare you to handle anything!

Fantastic one to one driving lessons, Thomas is a kind and professional instructor with copious amounts of experience, I would highly reccommend booking with him.

I passed my test in dun laoghaire with the assistance of Keith, he was a huge help in getting me test ready and making sure I had the correct level of attention to detail, I would recomend this to anyone looking to ace their test.

I was experienced driver with so many bad habits. It's probably harder to correct something you've been doing wrong or missing whole your life. Diane was really good in correcting them, reminding on every minor or major mistake, leaving no room for errors, which eventually made me pass my test in my first attempt.She is very kind and patient. Car is really smooth and functioning which is really important for first time learners and for the test in my opinion. So happy that i took lessons with her and waiting on my license to arrive now.

Really helped me come along down my edts and pretest with Suzanne and I got lasts minute availability with a car available I can’t thank Tom and Suzanne enough. Great instructors and great school passed in Carlow

I passed my driving test this week, and I couldn't have done it without Chris. He's a fantastic instructor—calm, patient, professional, and great at building confidence. Every lesson was focused and encouraging. If you're lucky enough to get a spot in Chris's busy schedule, you're in the best hands. Highly recommended!

This for Tomas, if you want the best instructor for manual test. Here is my story: i have almost 12 driving experiance in a diffrent country i used to have a lot or bad habits that i gained through out the years, after the EDT 6 with diffeent instructor, initially i was thinking i just need 1 or 2 hours until i was trained by Tomas, really cant thank this man enough, patience, clear instructions, will give you a very detailed feedback in every step of your way and will guile you in a very calm way.
I just passed my first test with no faults!!! Couldn't do it with you Tomas

I had both Mick & Clodagh as instructors. Both were absolutely fantastic, they made me feel at ease & confident. I felt super prepared going into my test after doing a week of lessons with Clodagh, you can tell she genuinely cares about all of her students. And I passed on my first try!! Amazing experience
