We did a fair amount of research for this bed as we have low ceilings in our cottage. Found this company and liked what we saw and the reviews were very positive. We bought a 150*200 Pimlico in cherry and everything about the purchase went as you would wish. The communications about when it would be delivered were spot on and the delivery men perfect. I assembled the bed myself and it went together just as the instructions said.
We are really pleased with the quality and finish and all the materials even the bolts etc are good quality for a change. It’s rock solid once put together and with a new mattress on top it is so comfortable.
This is a great product and a great example of how an internet purchase should work.

We purchased a new king size bed and two side tables, all in oak. The furniture are high quality and solid, and will last several lifetimes, I am sure. Worth every penny.

The delivery company contacted me to arrange the preferred delivery date.

Delivery was prompt and got a phone call 30mins from arrival. Handled and packaged safely.

Good, informative website, and when I had queries they responded promptly and with photos.
Delivery was straightforward, from a separate company, requested they unpack furniture, and they removed the packaging.
Bedframe was straightforward to assemble, very comfortable and looks beautiful.
Bedside tables and chest of drawers, whilst not the same design, go well with the bed. I'm so pleased I treated myself to this beautiful furniture, well worth the investment.

Really solid, high-quality bed. Came well packaged, easy to put together. The wood colour is a bit different from the photos, probably just lighting, but overall very happy with it! Customer service was also very friendly and supportive.

After searching high and low for a high quality, British made bed with an understated look, we found Natural Bed Company. After visiting their showroom (a 3 hr drive from home), and spending nearly 2 hours with a very patient assistant looking at all the designs, wood colours and finish options, we ordered a super-king Chiswick. It was worth the wait and we are delighted with the bed! Delivery was straightforward, communications were clear and timely and putting the bed together was really easy. It looks amazing and we would highly recommend NBC.

I love my Naturalbedcompany bed. I couldn't be more happy with the quality. I looked for a mid century style bed on John Lewis and various other sites and they were all expensive with poor reviews and ugly veneers and cheap wood. Naturalbedcompany was a bit out of my price range but I do not regret it as the wood really is beautiful and solid. I'm happy with the price as I can tell it's going to last for decades. My bed was flawlessly crafted by Rob. The beds are super intuitive and easy to assemble with everything provided. Do familiarise yourself with how these gorgeous wood colours will change over time. I opted for cherry wood knowing it will eventually darken and match my other mid century furniture.

Efficient, helpful, on time and fantastic quality - a beautiful bed

Beautifully made bed. Real craftsmanship.

I received my bed, a customised king Highbury in oak, last week and absolutely love it. Beautiful wood, very well made with soft edges and so nicely finished. I looked long and hard online for a natural wood bed and this was the best there was. This bed will last a lifetime.

Great experience. No pressure and all our needs in what we wanted were thoughtfully met. Very pleased with our new Nevada which was custom made as we wanted it lower than the original. In fact it's hard to buy a decent low bed so this shop is a God send. The wait time is a bind but it was worth it. Super comfy mattress at under a grand. Brilliant.

I had a truly excellent experience with the Natural Bed Company already from my first call enquiring about their Japanese style low beds. I spoke on the phone to Beth and Hollie over the course of a couple of weeks as I made up my mind on the design of my bed and both were very friendly, knowledgeable and patient and able to advise on product, the manufacturing and the delivery process. Their follow-on e-mail responses were always professional and quick. The wood samples I was sent arrived quickly too. The samples were amazing quality and much better in grain, colour and finish to a more expensive competitor product I was also considering. In fact, I was so pleased and confident in the product and company, I ended up getting two beds in cherry wood - one bespoke Kobe and the other Kobe a standard small double. The payment process was smooth and easy. All written communication was simple and clear. Both bed bases arrived yesterday bang on time, the wood as per sample and the design exactly as depicted in the website photographs. The beds were very easy for me to assemble. One had wooden slats so there was a lot of screwing but the level of accuracy meant everything fitted and was easy. The pieces of wood were numbered with stylish imprints and I didn't even have to refer to the instructions. Even the packaging showed quality, attention to detail, a care for the environment and pride in the handmade product. I appreciated the personal touch on the labels which gave the name of the person who had made my beds and I can give a special thank you here to Nigel for his skill. The delivery company too was super efficient and last night I slept on my bed for the first time. A great night's sleep despite the heat. I am a very happy customer and can recommend the Natural Bed Company to anyone who reads this review. I love simple and natural things. The beds are beautiful.

Beautiful workmanship. We have a bed to be proud of, and which will serve us for many years. Delivered on time, and up three floors without complaint!

Outstanding Service and Product!
They could not have been more helpful. We looked online and visited the showroom—there was no sales pressure, just friendly and knowledgeable advice that helped us understand all the bed options - styles, sizes, options for headboards etc.

The bed arrived right on schedule, and we couldn’t be more delighted. It exceeded our expectations—beautifully made and easy to assemble. Even the courier company was excellent; they took everything upstairs and removed all the packaging.

Loved the interaction with the Natural bed company. The answered all of my questions; specifically regarding Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and produced detailed responses including test results for their furniture, paints and finishing products. - Communication was professional as were their delivery team (Furdeco).
The team unwrapped everything and put is aside carefully as well as tidied up after themselves. - The bed frame itself is beautiful aesthetically, is solid, well made and was easy to put together.

All in all a fantastic experience and I would not hesitate to liaise with or purchase from the Natural bed company again.

Very pleased with my new bed. I had ordered wood samples before choosing and has questions answered quickly via email. I also requested an alteration to the size which was easily accommodated. Communication was very good throughout. The quality is amazing and well worth the extra cost, will last me my whole life.

High quality bed. Super easy to put together. Have given 4 stars instead of 5 only because the lead time from purchase to delivery was over 2 months (NB this was fully disclosed at time of purchase) - would have liked to have waited less time.

Very happy customer. I have 2 bed bases from NBC. The Camden and then more recently NBC made a bespoke option of the Pimlico bed without a headboard for me. Both our beds are exactly what I wanted and made from beautiful solid wood. The assembly is also very simple. The beds are sturdy and exude quality.

Excellent product. It was delivered very safely and well packaged and protected. The two men unwrapped everything carefully and it was inspected for any damage. It was easy to assemble the bed - took perhaps 15-20 minutes - very similar to an "IKEA" assembling experience. Perhaps this might be the slight "downer" that it could be compared to IKEA but of course the quality is in a completely different league to that. Very happy with our purchase and will hopefully enjoy it for many years to come.

I can really recommend this company. We’ve recently taken delivery of a Carlisle bed. It is so beautifully made and was very easy to assemble. They even made some adjustments to our bed as we also ordered a lovely but deep mattress so they made our bed with a higher headboard so the mattress would fit well. Fantastically comfy and the bed looks great in our bedroom. Can’t recommend highly enough.
