That apparently can't take criticism. I've had 3 comments that mention Murdoch press, not published because they don't meet community guidelines. There was no foul language or insults, just explaining... Voir plus
The website is pretty much unusable now: bogged down by asinine pop-ups, celebrity video you never asked for, and UX from 2016. How do I know this? Because I was a front-end dev for NewsCorp in 2012 -... Voir plus

Not only are the "news" stories mostly rubbish, they are often badly cut and pasted articles. To make things worse the popup adverts often cover part of the story and move with the screen scroll so the article is unreadable. Scrolling on a phone is almost impossibe when the advert is the full screen so you have to be extra carefull that you dont click on the ad. More spam articles than facebook these days
News.com.au isn’t a news site
News.com.au isn’t a news site. Most of their “news” is advertorial or mind-numbing gossip on supposed celebrities that no-one has either never heard of or doesn’t care about. Just a joke.
Grubby fleet street-style journalism…
Grubby fleet street-style journalism and bombarded with brainless ads.
The only positive thing is its free, as no one would pay for this worthless journalism.

As this stage they are just direct government propaganda.
This news site is an insult to the intelligence of its readers
This news site is an insult to the intelligence of its readers, a digital travesty masquerading as a beacon of information. It’s a journalistic wasteland where the currency is not truth, but clicks—each story a mercenary, selling sensationalism to the highest bidder. Headlines scream with the desperate shrillness of a carnival barker, luring you into a funhouse mirror maze of distorted facts and overblown narratives.
Truth is not just bent; it's contorted into grotesque shapes, each article a Frankenstein's monster stitched together with the lifeless limbs of 'alternative facts' and hyperbolic adjectives. These aren't typos; they're an affront to the written word, a brazen display of incompetence that even autocorrect disowns. Grammar and coherence are left bleeding by the roadside, casualties of a drive-by shooting with reckless abandon for the English language.
The site stands as a monolith to the decline of journalistic standards, each clickbait headline a nail in the coffin of credibility. With a 'no' that whispers and a 'yes' that bellows, the bias is as subtle as a sledgehammer to the kneecaps. It's a siren call for the outraged and the unthinking, a haven for advertisers who dress up exploitation as engagement. It doesn't just border on the unethical; it revels in its moral bankruptcy, peddling soft porn and scandal with the glee of a pyromaniac at a bonfire.
This site peddles narratives, not news, with the subtlety of a sledgehammer. Its articles, riddled with sensationalist vocabulary—'diabolical', 'stunned', 'desperate plea'—are interlaced with the omnipresent ads of global corporations, as if to remind you that here, the almighty dollar reigns supreme. It's a symphony of the superfluous, where journalism is not dead but has certainly sold its soul.
Trusted? Far from it. Research and public opinion crown it the least trusted media outlet, a title worn not as a badge of shame but seemingly of denial and misplaced pride. Here, the writers masquerade as journalists, their armor chinks of poor spelling and non-existent editing, wielding adjectives like blunt swords, barely related to the stories they're supposed to enhance.
In sum, this site is the junk food of information—cheap, addictive, and ultimately, detrimental to one's understanding of the world. A purveyor of the superficial, where substance is sacrificed at the altar of the sensational, and trustworthiness is as scarce as a needle in a haystack of spin and hyperbole.
What a load of Sugar Harry 1 Thomas!
Complete garbage news for people with very low IQ’s.

More a magazine style website than any credible news content, it runs a comments section but its heavily censored and infested with single name troll accounts that target any centrist views with extreme leftist content.
sab keh do news me
The absolute worst "news" source.
If I could give it no stars, I would. It's more of a gossip column than a news source with every headline and photo completely over dramatised. I stopped visiting this site for news a long time ago.
An absolute joke
An absolute joke, reporting what they want the public to hear.
Read an article where someone was in favour of the “no” vote but not once did you reference the word “no”
But said they were trying to bring down the “yes” vote
Hahahaha your page is a joke.
Accurate news

News.com has got to be the worst “News”…
News.com has got to be the worst “News” provider available. I am yet to read an article that is not full of spelling and grammar mistakes. Not to mention, theoment I start reading an article, within one paragraph, I can tell of Daniela Elser has written it - by the frustrating attempts at humour - she is not a comedian and needs to give it up

Well I read there news daily however I find they tend to have to far on a quest for trashy news headlines on coverage on the most topics. Half of the content is covered in typos and clearly someone cuts and pastes articles I’m assuming stolen. Their personal vendetta against Prince Harry is clear with misinformation assuming because he is suing them. Also if half of the alleged reporters actually make articles for a positive change in society would probably make a good platform. I’m not a lefty but this news is as bad as British tabloids that expose real genuine efforts made from real reporters. It’s catchy with the layout but lacks substance or any real talent. The news has a strong influence on anyone and this news is worthy of a royal commission
Sensation over facts
More opinions rather than facts. Sensationalise everything with dramatic and exaggerated headlines.
Celebrity stuff from social media is more prominent than real news.
Absolute garbage reporting
Absolute garbage reporting.
The content produced across this so-called news website is full of click-bait styled headlines accompanied by shallow content and material.

When presented with this research, news com au chose denial and declared they really are trusted!
The only place you can get articles that are click bait, soft porn and borderline illegal opinions.
A not so shocking twist
With every 'shocking twist', 'slam', and clickbait article you read I feel like I'm getting dumber. Does anyone actually proof read this crap? I often wonder if I would be more disappointed if my daughter came home and said she was a news.com.au journalist or a stripper...I have since enrolled her in dance school. Honestly would write them out of the will if they said they worked for this 'publication'. Just terrible. Yours Sincerely, Sophie Monk's side piece with an unwarranted AVO xxxx

Absolute trash- the Journalists are wannabe's who cannot spell, use editing techniques- nor have an editor, clearly.
TYPOS in Headlines, sentences or paragraphs repeated, and EVERY headline starts with a bloody (like this) ADJECTIVE barely related to the story yet grab the eye.
