After my experience, North London Windows Ltd cannot be recommended for installing bespoke UPVC doors and windows.

The Area Sales Manager came over to assess the job required: replacement of an external door and side panel, and a separate door. He told me that it was a straightforward task and promptly took my order, followed by a contractual agreement and my down payment for the work. That was back in July. Then, the Company sent around a surveyor to take detailed measurements. A few weeks later, we were visited by two other members of their team to check some of the measurements. Then all went quiet. Calls to the office were met by ducking and weaving. The promised drawings of the replacement doors failed to materialise.

After 8 weeks, I concluded that the Company had got cold feet. That made me feel that I was dealing with a bunch of incompetents who had made me lose the crucial summer months for my needed home upgrade. My deposit was returned in October, but without any compensation for what was effectively a breach of contract by North London Windows Ltd.

Avoid this so called "family run company" like the corona virus disease. The sales person is keen to sell. But the price is not cheap whatsoever for the sub-par product. If you are still keen to proceed, the fun begins after agreeing the contract. False promises for delivery and installation by the whole team, including the owner. Misaligned product delivered even after the visit from the so called "surveyor" to take correct measurement. Further delays in the delivery and installation. Then last minute just before installation of the revised remeasured window, they said that the manufacturer cannot make the design that was agreed weeks ago!! So they do not take ownership and blame the manufacturer. Very poor written communication from the after sales team who do not give you all the information. Very frustrating to deal with. I would not recommend them whatsoever. Even the reputable building firm that is involved with the construction of my extension was not impressed with the quality of the product or their servicing capability.
