I was a furniture maker running a workshop with 12 makers, so I know what I was looking for. The quality the fittings, the materials were hundred percent perfect. No fuss on installation.

This is the second time we have used the North London Box Sash Window Company.
We were so pleased with the work that it was a no-brainer to ask them to do the rest of the house.

The windows have transformed the house both aesthetically and in terms of comfort.
No more drafts, noise, and rattly old sashes.

The new windows are perfectly in keeping with our Victorian house, but with all the advantages of factory engineering for a precision fit.

The team at NLBSWC were incredibly polite and hardworking. Always extremely tidy with great attention to detail. I would describe them as real craftsmen.

The work was done just before Christmas, and it was nice having these people around.
We are so happy with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Definitely recommend! NLBS provided a competitive quote - after we compared five. They came round and measured everything necessary within about half an hour. Once everything was made, fitting four windows took three days. The service over those three days was excellent and the quality of the windows and the work was fantastic.

North London Box Sash replaced sash windows in our bathrooms, The windows are lovely, perfect replicas in our Edwardian house. The process was easy from beginning to end, and the windows were fitted with hardly any disruption to our home. The cost was also substantially cheaper for equivalent windows from other companies. We are very happy with the result.

North London Box Sash provided an excellent service in replacing a couple of very worn casement windows at a very reasonable cost. The team were able to carry out the work without scaffolding and were done within a few hours. A great job all round!

I couldn’t rave more enthusiastically about North London Box Sash if i was shouting it from our beautiful new sash windows! We had to get three sash windows replaced and I was dreading the disruption, mess and cost. But the whole process of getting our new windows installed with NLBS has been a dream: from my initial enquiries with Luke, who was very patient with all my questions and the time it took for me to commit, making a real effort to send me detailed information about their work, materials, energy specifications and past projects, which made me feel really confident about them from the beginning; to Mark who came over very swiftly to do the survey; to Henry and Przemek who came to take the old windows out and fit the new windows in. They were so respectful of our property, really neat and tidy, hardworking and efficient, and their work is beautifully seamless with a detailed eye, perfectly matching the new windows to the existing structure, and of a really high professional standard. The new windows are of premium spec quality, from the wooden frames to the glass in the double glazing to the opening/closing mechanisms and hardware, beautifully made and finished and it’s immediately noticeable how much more energy efficient they make each room. I now can’t wait to eventually get all our windows redone - couldn’t recommend highly enough.

North London box sash fitted our wooden double glazed sash windows recently. We have been very happy with the service from beginning to end. Communication has been excellent throughout via Luke, providing good continuity. The survey was booked in and carried out by Mark in good time. We received a detailed quotation quickly and were given an approximate fitting date so we could plan accordingly. Maciek and Przemek fitted our windows efficiently and were very clean and tidy. We had minimal cleaning and decorating to do once they had gone. We are really happy with the end result!

Extremely professional and friendly tradesman, with care and respect for your home whilst working in it and good attention to detail. They really do care about the finished product which was particularly important as we live in a conservation area with strict and tight criteria. We are very pleased to have upgraded our single paned window to a nice new double glazed window, like it has always been there. We will be back to sort the rest of our windows asap!

Luke, Mark & their team did an amazing job on our flat's sash windows. We live in a grade II listed building, making for a tricky & highly bureaucratic renovation. But the guys were very professional, efficient & patient helping to get paperwork & drawings ready & then in doing the job replacing four box sash windows. They look incredible. Poor communication wasting time then failed to actually respond with what was needed.

We went to North London Box Sash for a new front door plus shutters for the front room windows. Shutters work crisply and doors smoothly – very well constructed and expertly fitted, with a good guarantee on the door. Very satisfied all round.

This is the second set of windows I have had installed by North London Box Sash - the first job I had done last year was so good I saved up to get more windows done. Yet again, Luke and his team did a wonderful job. The windows really are beautiful. They make the room and the outside of the house look totally different - much smarter. Also, NLBS matched the exact architectural detailing of the original windows in our street. However, the main reason I love this company so much is that the team are so professional and friendly. They work in such an organized, clean and tidy way, they are on time and the communication is always great. I would not hesitate to recommend them. (PS They didn't ask me to write this review!)

I've posted this same review on Google as I read all the online reviews myself before deciding on this company and hope it's helpful to others. I'm so pleased I chose North London Box Sash to replace two sash windows in my small flat. After my initial email enquiry & photos Luke got back the same night with a quote and masses of useful information which helped with my decision making. Mark came over to measure up (and the initial quote was even reduced as one window was smaller) and was so friendly and helpful. Luke kept in touch on the fitting date and the fitter was excellent. The windows look fantastic and my flat was instantly warmer and quieter with the new double glazing and at last no more condensation to wipe away each morning. I wish I'd had them changed years ago. I highly recommend these guys!

We had two bays of three windows each installed over two days. The 3 man team that came were very pleasant to have in the house, very professional & experienced. The initial contact & conversations that gave the quotes was thoughtful & helpful, for example on materials & fittings.
The installation team covered everything that could be covered , the flooring & carpets were double covered!
We fueled the guys with lots of tea since they were a good bunch. We provided parking vouchers for the vehicles when they were here.
They had to remove 130 year old frames , producing much dust & old wood.
The finished product was great, good looking . Living in the two rooms that had windows fitted is now much quieter & obviously draught free. Wonderful!
The guys finished by clearing everything away, vacuumed up where they worked , left it pretty pristine.
We feel so good about the company that we have asked for quotes for one more bay window & a front door.
