NEVER TRUST THIS APP AND ITS PEOPLE. IT WAS NEVER STABLE AND NEVER WORKED PROPERLY. THEY HAVE THE WORST SUPPORT SYSTEM. THEY DO NOT ANSWER YOUR QUERIES THROUGH THEIR OFFICIAL WHATSAPP CHANNELS. THEY HAVE A BUNCH OF RUDE STAFF. THERE HAS EVEN BEEN RACISM IN THEIR RESPONSES.

THEIR ACTIVITIES ARE VERY SUSPICIOUS THROUGHOUT. THEY WERE NEVER TRANSPARENT. JUST LIKE THEIR APP, THEIR OPERATIONS ARE ALSO SUSPICIOUS. THEY GIVE FAKE ASSURANCES AND MISLEADING PROMOTIONAL OFFERS.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, THEY HAVE SEVERAL HIDDEN CHARGES. THEY TAKE HUGE FEES WHEN YOU BUY GOLD OR SILVER, WHEN YOU REDEEM YOUR GOLD OR SILVER, AND EVEN WHEN YOU TRANSFER YOUR OWN MONEY BACK TO YOUR ACCOUNT.

WHAT YOU SEE IN THEIR APP IS NOT THE REALITY.

BE VERY CAREFUL WHILE USING THIS APP.

THERE ARE MUCH MORE TRUSTWORTHY APPS AND PORTALS AVAILABLE, SUCH AS AINGOLD. YOUR BANK ALSO PROVIDES SAFER OPTIONS TO INVEST IN GOLD.

To follow up on the saga, they eventually refunded me all my funds, the process was extremely slow and made complex by poor Whatsapp service assistant who is not helpful, every time a difficult question or fact is requested for clarification the response is "thank you for contacting.... blah blah blah".
So I got my refund but all other vendors are running out of silver it is now far more expensive more than two weeks after the problems with OGold started.

I joined Ogold December 2025, my KYC was approved then. I bought Gold & Silver held by Ogold no problem. I tried to buy silver to be delivered, the purchase was delayed because the organisation required me to again complete the KYC process, the reason given was because their app changed, no idea why this would impact existing approved KYC process. Funnily enough the price of silver increased significantly during the KYC processing time which should have taken 48 hours took a lot more.
I eventually had my KYC approved and proceeded to purchase the silver at a significantly increased price, the order was confirmed and the receipt provided.
On the same day I received a call from Ogold advising they no longer sell the silver bars at the size I purchased but I could purchase the total weight in smaller weights but the mark-up will further increase the price. I advised that I would like the money refunded I was informed they would check the policy and get back to me that day. They did not get back to me,
I used their Whatsapp channel to further inquire and was advised they were processing the refund request and would inform me when the decision was made. The Whatsapp responses have stopped and I am held in limbo waiting for an answer since 14/01/2025. The original order was placed a week before that so in Silver value that was approx $80 now approx $95, they have cost me money. And I still do not have a response on a refund for money for a service that was not available. Service is poor.
