THE project management tool for organizations which care about data protection
OpenProject is THE project management tool to turn to when you care a lot about data protection and/or safe on-premise hosting.
In comparison to competitors, it includes a wealth of possibilities for individual configuration (which is generally a plus for many users but can make using it a bit confusing for new users at times). It includes list, GANTT, and board views and enables task-related time-tracking.
What could be really useful, especially for smaller organizations, is also the built-in wiki feature.

Secure and Open source project management software
I chose OpenProject for their rigorous data security approach. Also it allows you to combine both agile and traditional, waterfall project management. And it's open source, that's great.

Notice the word Free... it is free... for 14 days... then it's not... soooo, not really free, just a trial.
