Thieves
OpticsFast is the worst company I've ever dealt with. They are thieves. They will tell you lies and hang up on you if you question their stories. I don't know how they are allowed to stay in business. I sent them a pair of $1,000 glasses for repairs to the frame. They told me that it usually takes 7-14 days. On day 15 (weekday 15 to be exact) after hearing nothing from them I called and was told the glasses were just sent to their "lab". This was a lie because they sent me an email that said the glasses had been sent to their "lab" three weeks before (December 5, 2017). They said to call back in a week, which I did and then they said the glasses were misplaced and to call back in a few days. I called back and was told the same story and to call back in a few days. I called a third time and got the same story. When I asked what they were doing to rectify the situation, the woman got rude and said there was nothing she could do. When I asked to speak to a manager she hung up on me. I am going to file a complaint with the NJ Attorney General and hope as a result they will be fined and put in jail.

Bait and switch
Bait and switch. Posted glasses in 5-6 different colors. I attempted to order 2 pairs (1 of them with a price match but they "no longer have that color"). So I ordered another color. The order went through online and then I received an email that they only have 1 pair in their retail store and there is a $40 fee for pulling them. I told them that is robbery and they need to honor their advertised price. They emailed me that my order was canceled.

THIEVERY? YOU DECIDE. BUT I RECOMMEND AVOIDING THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS. They get your frames with free shipping and then hold them hostage unless you pay a lens replacement fee more than twice what they represent on their site. If you want your frames back, they then demand $12 shipping fee, AND have the gall to add a $.99 fee on top of that for their trouble! STAY AWAY!

My initial experience with OpticsFast was quite good. I found the perfect Ray-Ban frame (for me) and they had far and away the best price I was able to find. Becky was my customer rep and she was very good! Since the price of the frame was so attractive I decided to go all out on lenses and went with Progressive Transition lenses with all bells and whistles. I was a little surprised that it took 3-1/2 weeks to get the glasses, but when they arrived I loved the frames. The lenses are quite another story! Because I went from a bifocal to transition lenses. I expected the switch to Transitions to take a bit of time to adjust, but after about 3 weeks I stopped into my local optician to check adjustments. It took less than 10 minutes to get them adjusted and things seemed better...for a while. Over the next month I began to realize that while I good see at different distances, objects were rarely in focus for both eyes. As I began paying more attention this I realized that I had to move my head right or left depending on which eye I wanted in focus. When I had a some time during working hours I took my prescription and the glasses back to the optician and explained what I was noticing with the glasses. He took my glasses and my prescription to his lab. When he returned he advised me that he had good news and bad news. The good news was that lenses had the correct prescription. The bad news was that PD (Pupillary Distance) on the lenses wasn't even close to my prescription. That problem was compounded by the fact that it was cut too high, so in order to use the glasses effectively I have to drop my down and turn my head to the left (or right) depending on which eye I want to focus properly. I did send a note to their Customer Service on July 6 detailing the information above and have heard nothing back in the past 3+ weeks.

Well after reading the reviews it looks like That I have also been scammed!,, I sent in a 350.00 pair of Gucci sunglasses --- after I sent them my $80.00 I was given a response time of 1-2 weeks-- that was June 4. After I wrote them and asked where my glasses were they told me that the government confiscated -quote- a bunch of repairs and they would be returned when the investigation was finished. I am in the process of writing to the better business bureau and report them as a tittle scam. I have learned a lesson to really check out a company!!!

They never returned my $300.00 pair of sunglasses back to me after I send them for repair. they keep saying that a searchwarrant was served by the postal service and that the feds have my sunglasses.still after 7 weeks have not received my sunglasses back.

I sent my glasses and paid for repairs I had finally got a response from me asking when are my glasses coming they said that they had 7 crate's cofinstate by the government and I wouldn't be getting my glasses back so I'm out a 700.00 pair of glasses and 70.00 on repair fees

Sent glasses for repair, on their website it said they wantes 189 usd to get fixed.
I sent an email asking to get them back since this is clearly too high.
After i received another email saying they are matching the competitors price at 49.99
So i proceeded to pay
Received another email saying that they could offer 169 instead of 189( i know wtff)
I replied explaining the 49.99 email and that i had already payed ( later i found out they didnt charge my card) .
Now you have to note that i dont decide what to pay on their website , the 49.99 was the only number i could have payed.
After calling, emailing, contacting support thwy agreed to send me back my glasses for 19 usd

I would give this company a zero. I order sunglasses with my flex spending card and of course I they took the money. I received email and text messages that the item I purchased would be delivered soon. Then about 3 month later I recieved a email saying that it is no longer in stock. I asked for a refund since this is not my fault. I recieved an email saying that that is not an option I would have to get something else. So I started looking again, then recieved another text from becky that she found 1 and it is mine since I am a loyal customer. However, it was not send to me. I then got another email months later saying that the color I really wanted was back in stock. So I was happy to get it. A nother month passed and so sunglasses. So I reach out again to be told that I did not pay for the item. I told them I used my flex spending and the money was taken out already ( started thinking these people are trying to scam me for more money). I got a reply then saying we will ship them right away. It is now a WHOLE YEAR and still no sunglasses. I am am out almost $400. I have been trying to reached out and no one is getting back to me. So all in all, this is a scaming company. Please do not be like me and lose your money stupidly.

My glasses were returned filthy dirty. After reading about the owner being arrested for fraud I contacted them and they said that they had no idea where my sunglasses were, however as soon as I contacted me credit card company to file a protest I immediately received a message that my glasses were being shipped. Received my glasses partially repaired and no replacement lens and dirty gooy film on the frames. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing! This company is a complete scam! I ordered a pair of sunglasses from them and there was an additional charge of $100 above and beyond what I paid for the glasses!! I purchased a pair of maui jims for $169. The only reason I bought from here was to try and save $20. The glasses were $189 on the maui Jim website. This crappy company added $100 for a "special order fee" and tried charging me $269 for a $189 pair of glasses. Customer service is rude, and derogatory. Worst online experience I've ever had. Stay away!!
