Took 3 days to find out they could not pick up the parcel and had no way of contacting the courier. This was from the Hills in Sydney to Melbourne Suburbs.
Customer Service Manager was passive aggressive, talked over me and kept pointing out I was using their budget service. Told repeatedly about their internal business process instead of actually resolving the issue, which was I needed some sort of time bound pick up window after 3 days of waiting for a no show courier.
Refund issued. Will not use again.

We understand you remain dissatisfied with the experience. For clarity, our team had been liaising with the carrier regarding the collection, and we explained that carrier collections operate within service windows rather than guaranteed timeframes. We also offered an alternative Express service, which was declined as it could not provide a specific collection time.
Online Self Service is a budget, DIY service, and the booking information advises that carrier collections can take additional time. While we cannot control individual driver schedules, we did provide the available options, and the booking was ultimately fully refunded.
We appreciate the delay was frustrating.
Delivery time was very slow
Delivery time was very slow, tracking showed item sitting depot in Melbourne for 5 business days before departure, tracking wasn’t updated to show arrival in Adelaide and eventually was delivered 3 business days after arrival in Adelaide. Communication was poor in response to emails and phone calls. On the positive side, price was very good…..so if your pockets aren’t very full and you’re not in a rush, go for it

The ordering a courier online was super simple, took a few minutes and then they organised the rest. Issue occurs with the third-party courier who fulfils the request. A week after the pickup should have been completed, I contacted the business waiting for the documents to be picked up to find they had not. I messaged Pack & Send to be told that they had been advised that the documents were not ready. I phoned them up and they looked into it for me and quickly re-organised the pickup and I now have the documents. Although this wasn't the best experience, Pack & Send once contacted jumped on it and had things sorted very quickly, can't fault them for that.

TERRIBLE Company
Absolutely terrible Company. DO NOT USE. My package was clearly labeled FRAGILE and GLASS. Yet it was poorly handled and something penetrated the box and smashed the glass, ruining the frame and the valuable piece of memorabilia inside. So much money wasted and the Company refuses to acknowledge anything or even offer a refund.
1 Star only because 0 Stars is not an option.

Charged double after delivery but got refund after dispute - be careful
I booked a parcel from Brisbane to Perth through Pack & Send's online service, paid ~$xxx at checkout, and was then hit with an additional $100+ charge two weeks after delivery without any prior notice — effectively doubling the original price.
The surcharge included an "Oversize Surcharge" that does not appear anywhere in Pack & Send's own published Surcharge Schedule, which forms part of their Terms & Conditions. When challenged, they deflected responsibility onto their carrier rather than addressing the contractual issue directly.
After persisting and raising this formally, I received a full refund. However, most customers would not know to push back, and many would simply pay or would not notice at all.
My advice: screenshot your booking details including dimensions and weight before sending, keep your invoice, and read the Surcharge Schedule in their T&Cs carefully. If you are charged something that doesn't appear in that schedule, dispute it.
The service itself got the parcel there — but the post-delivery billing practice needs serious attention.

Additional charges can arise where the shipment is subsequently assessed as requiring a surcharge by the carrier. These charges are not intended to be arbitrary, and where a customer queries a charge, we will review the circumstances and applicable terms.
In this instance, the matter was reviewed and a full refund was provided. We’re pleased the shipment itself was delivered successfully, and we appreciate your feedback regarding how additional charges are communicated. We will take this feedback into consideration as we continue to improve the customer experience.

Thank you for your feedback. The cancellation fee applies where an online booking is cancelled because the item does not meet the requirements of our Online Self Service. Our booking process clearly provides customers with the Prohibited Goods information and allows them to check their items before proceeding. In this instance, the decision was made by the applicant to proceed with the booking despite the item being listed as prohibited for Online Self Service. The applicable Terms & Conditions also outline the cancellation fee where a booking needs to be cancelled for this reason. We appreciate that a cancellation fee may be disappointing, however the relevant information and conditions are provided during the booking process before payment is completed.
