Re: Garage door paint, just finished painting my garage door, paint goes on nicely, flows out well but did need two coats. Overall I'm very impressed.
It was delivered quickly and came in the best packaging I've ever seen for a can of liquid.

Terrible Delivery
Website states delivery times. I waited 5 working days before contacting them and then they put the item out for delivery.
I received a message saying delivery would be within a 2 hour time window but it didnt arrive that day at all. 24 hours later, it still hasnt arrived.
This has delayed my project by around 1 week in total.
The reply states that delivery has been succesful. It has not. It hasnt been delivered or even attempted.

We are disappointed by this review, as it omits the fact that the courier encountered an operational issue and subsequently reattempted delivery successfully.
The order was for Coo-Var Profloor Plus Anti-Slip Aggregate, valued at £16.98. While we fully accept that the delivery took longer than expected, courier delays can occasionally occur and are not evidence of “terrible” service by our company.
As soon as the issue became apparent, action was taken to ensure the parcel was delivered. We apologise for the delay, but we believe this review is disproportionate given that the delivery issue was resolved and the order was successfully received.

Great paint
Ordering was easy. Next day delivery was a bonus.
Paint was easy to use and covered our fibreglass roof brilliantly.
Finish is excellent. Really good quality paint at an affordable price. Would definitely recommend.

Wrong paint delivered
Customer service done their best to resolve my issue when I had the wrong paint delivered. However, the delay caused by the wrong paint being delivered and then replacing the paint had a massive effect on the project I was undertaking, hence the 2 Stars

Ordered 20l of two pack paint
Ordered 20l of two pack paint.
Delivered a single 2.7l pack of hardener. No information on where the rest of the order was.
Contacted paint4trade and the missing 16l was delivered the next day.
But…. 16l + 2.7l doesn’t equal 20l
And the mix ratio should be 4-1 so not enough hardener.
Contacted paint4trade about the above and all they said was ‘the paint supplier has changed their packaging……..’ no offer to put it right or any kind of follow up.

I bought light blue paint
I bought light blue paint. It certainly didn’t look light blue to me when I opened the tin, so I thought perhaps it drys light. Oh no, it doesn’t dry light. Why call it light blue absolute joke

RAL colours originated in Germany, with the RAL colour system established in 1927 to provide standardised colour references for industry and public use.
RAL 5012 is officially designated “Light Blue” by RAL itself. This is not a colour name invented or selected by our company, and we have no involvement whatsoever in deciding or changing official RAL colour names. We simply manufacture and match the paint to the RAL standard selected by you the customer.
The name “Light Blue” is the official identifier for this particular RAL 5012 shade. It is not a subjective guarantee of how light or dark an individual customer may personally consider the colour to be.
Our website also clearly states within its colour disclaimer:
“Colours are for reference only and are an approximation of the true colours.”
The quality, type and settings of the device used to display the colours can also affect how they appear. Customers for whom the precise shade is critical should always consult an official physical RAL colour card before ordering bespoke mixed paint.
The criticism is therefore directed at RAL’s official colour designation, not at a misleading colour name created by our company.
