The Pearlman clinic doctor practitioners or doctors if they like to be called are the most arrogant snotty unhelpful people I’ve ever encountered as a handicap person in the medical field they’re cruel and nasty and just have egos in the clouds. It’s unbelievable that they’re even allowed to be in business because their attitude is so pathetic Your pure ego. They just wanna pump your insurance and move on. They couldn’t care less about their patients.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. In need of urgent care out of town, I scheduled a telehealth visit and spoke with a medical professional for 10-15 minutes only to later be billed over $600 dollars. Save your money and go elsewhere for a telehealth visit.

1) Scheduling system is a mess. I scheduled a new patient appointment online with Dr. Dannie Perdomo and was able to be seen quickly (huge plus for primary care). But at the appt she told me she doesn't see new patients in 20 minutes slots. I felt their system shouldn't have given a new patient a 20 minute slot then.
I called to schedule my next appt and the scheduler said the appt would be 40 minutes in person with an exam and she was messaging the doctor to confirm everything. When I showed up I was told all appt slots are 20 minutes and there wouldn't be time for the exam.
2) They billed my insurance incorrectly, billing me a specialist copay $50, not the smaller PCP copay.
3) If you are young and looking to just fill a prescription or get a physical exam, this place may work for you. But if you want to ask any questions or have multiple topics to discuss, I'd go elsewhere. I felt the doctor was smart but abrupt. Hard to have a conversation with. I left the appointment with more questions than answers.

They called a black woman King Kong for absolutely no reason ! Avoid this clinic , there are many others you can choose from!! I went there once and they denied my service

The company does not honor what the Dr’s say. They only care about taking your money. Extremely dissatisfied. Would not recommend. They do not care about their patients.

I have high blood pressure and was working with PCP to get it under control. There were a couple of meds that, in the past, didn't agree with me and I was currently taking two meds. PCP said that she'd add one more med but that, beyond this additional med, there were no other options.

Well, there are 11 classes of BP meds and each one of those has several meds. A conservative estimate on the number of BP meds is 80-100. I spoke with an MD friend about this and he said that he could make no sense of my PCP's comment.

So, I messaged my PCP to get a referral to a cardiologist to investigate my options further. PCP said, "Your BP is under control and there's no need for a referral." I mean, what?! She had just prescribed a new med, ostensibly to help get my BP under control. I had not seen her since she prescribed this new med. So how is it remotely possible she could "know" that my BP was under control? Makes no sense.

Anyway, I went to see her for follow-up and arrived 10 minutes late--I looked at my phone just after entering door. It said, 11:30. I walked right up to reception to check in. Receptionist told me that I was late by over 10 minutes saying it was 11:31am and that she’d have to check to see if I could be seen. I heard the person she spoke with say that no, I would have to reschedule.

One minute late. I understand that it’s important to maintain professional boundaries to keep things running smoothly. That said, I had no idea that there was a 10 min time limit—every clinic I’ve been to has had a 15-minute late policy. And really, one minute, the first and only time I’d been late!? Sigh…

So yeah, last straw for me. Pretty aggravating all the way around.

Dr. Susan Taylor of Kensington SanDiego Perlman Clinic is one of the best if not the best doctor I had the luck to get as my primary physician. She is very kind, professional, extremely competent with sincere concern of her patients, and very efficient, knowledgeable doctor. She is the reason why I am much, much better with my health. She listens to my concerns and asks my opinion about my treatment plan apart from being an outstanding listener. A job very well done Dr. Taylor.

Made an appointment at the Perlman Clinic in Chula Vista to see a Healthcare Professional. They asked me to arrive 30 minutes early to fill out the paperwork, which I did. When my appointment time arrived I was taken to the private consultation room. After being in there for 30 minutes and seeing no one, I went out and asked why I hadn’t been seen. 5 minutes later the Health Professional came in, had a look at my problem, said he didn’t know what the problem was and suggested I see my GP. Then walked out. For this total lack of service they charged over $300 to my insurance company. Stay clear of this organisation. They are rip off merchants.
