Pestects Avis 

When I go away I usually have 10+ bites minimum in the space of a week. I was a bit apprehensive if these bracelet would work but I have to say they have been a game changer !!!
I have only been bitten once the whole time I was away. I also had the patches sent to me as a free gift and I wore them to bed .. absolutely amazed that i woke up to no bites!!
I have subscribed for the bracelets and I will make sure I buy the patches on subscription also..

These will be in my suitcase for every trip away!!

I placed an order with Pestects and only subsequently realised that the discounted price I had paid was connected with a subscription.

During the ordering process I noticed wording indicating that a subscription was enabled, but I could not find a way of deselecting it. I continued with the purchase believing that, if a subscription had been created, I would simply be able to cancel it afterwards.

The order confirmation did not clearly state that I had entered into a recurring subscription or that I was committed to purchasing a second order. It simply showed "3 Months" underneath one of the product entries.

After receiving my first order, I tried to cancel. I then discovered that Pestects says that a subscription cannot be cancelled until two orders have been completed.

I next tried the "Manage Subscriptions" link provided in my Pestects account. That link returned an HTTP 404 - page can't be found error.

I have therefore notified Pestects in writing that I am cancelling the subscription and do not authorise any further orders or payments. I have also instructed my credit-card provider to cancel any recurring payment authority to Pestects.

I found the whole subscription process unnecessarily unclear. Anyone ordering should look very carefully at whether they are making a one-off purchase or entering into a subscription, and at the restrictions Pestects places on cancellation.

Fantastic products. Only been beaten once since using these and thats because I took it off at night...

Looks like these work for some people but not for me, but my biggest complaint about them is we got caught in a downpour and bands got wet and dyed all over the front of my new cream linen trousers. I would not recommend or purchase again

A friend introduced me to the bracelets while on holiday in Italy and i loved them. Easy to use and when I came home I ordered the bracelets for myself. There was an issue with delivery time but this was created by Royal Mail and not Pestects as they were dispatched in plenty time. I contacted the company and the customer service and communication from Lauren was excellent. Highly recommend.

The website is appalling and very confusing. It does its best to sign you up for a subscription and the one off purchase option is hard to see. ‘Lauren,’ who I doubt is a real person, is a faceless email which doesn’t respond to the complaint. I am now out of pocket as they won’t send me the products until I pay more money. Avoid. Aggressive marketing at its worst.

These were so easy to use. Easy to fit and take off and really did protect from Mosquito and Wasps. I really do recommend, I will be buying more!

Bitten to shreds! Wore one bracelet on wrist and one of ankle ….. several bites over a 4 day break and even put new ones on after a day in the pool just in case but didn’t seem to put them off at all 🙈😫 super disappointed and itchy!

Love these bracelets this is 2nd pack I've bought keep for 2 years in the sealed packet been on holiday in palma nova 3 days not 1 bite wear one on my wrist and one on my opposite ankle would highly recommend pestects

Pestects provide great products, otherwise I wouldn’t keep coming back to their brand. The biggest downfall is the delivery time- I ordered bracelets, spray and patches approximately a week before our holiday and they arrived at home in the UK whilst we were close to the end of our overseas trip. So they’ll have to wait until our next holiday which won’t be until next year!

Whilst product may be ok, their customer service, in particular Lauren, leave a lot to be desired. They hide the fact they are signing you up to a subscription (a repellent pen every three months???) in a box that you don’t notice, don’t show it on your basket and because the final checkout has the same amount you don’t see they’ve added it at the very bottom. They told me I couldn’t cancel until I’d made two subscription payments - what’s that about? No other company does that, you can cancel immediately. So difficult to cancel and only recourse is having to deal with the terrible Lauren. I will never use this company again and if you do I would urge you to check everything because they are sly, misleading and very unhelpful. They sign every email saying they are a “small family company” - they arent they are huge. You have been warned.

The support and advice from the company has been refreshing in a world dominated by bots and AI
The bands do actually work very well. Only bites I have had have been from sand flies and late afternoons when I haven’t had one with me - my stupidity knows no bounds 🤭

When I visit a hot country I usually get bitten a lot, and often quite bad bites.

However, on a recent trip to Sri Lanka, where I was expecting the worst, I found the Pestect bracelets provided nearly complete protection. The few bites I did receive were quite minor.

They work, still got bitten a couple of times, but far less than normal.

Used for 1st time with reasonable success.Followed all instructions and wondered if any allergy issues might occur.None! Probably many less bites than normal but still a cracking few on arms and legs.
Will use the rest next time.

The bands look lovely and they REALLY work! I've got my family and friends all wearing them. Thank you Pestex. They made my summer so much more bearable.

I have been wearing a wrist band for 3 days here in Greece, and not one single bite, so far!

Great customer service, I emailed them before purchase and they were very helpful 😊 quick delivery and a great product. We used them on a 10 day trip and only got one bite...the day we arrived and hadn't put them on 😂 very happy and would highly recommend.

I bought the first lot of these for our 2nd trip to Zante in may ,as we were bitten badly the first time we went there,they were amazing arrived quickly,worked very well .not one bite,we were in the same hotel at the same time of year so thought this a very good test.
So ordered again for our next holiday and once again 10/10 ,arrived quickly and worked ,no bites at all.
