Phillips Solicitors was established in 1986. Brain Chase Coles Solicitors was established in 1995. Both firms merged on 1 February 2020. The merger was an important step towards our goal of building the region’s strongest dynamic, full-service law firm, whilst maintaining the traditional values that both firms were built on. In 2021, Phillips acquired Henley’s Solicitors. In 2022, we became Phillips Law.

Divorce
I used this Solicitors to get Divorced, my Barrister was Daniel Weintroub who was very calm & approachable in difficult circumstances. All in all a great outcome in the end for me!

Great Experience / Service
My wife and I were made very welcome when we entered the reception area, we sat down with McBriggs and once again made very welcome, we explained what we required for our Will and McBriggs made everything very clear, he made the whole process very simple for us making our wills. always have great service from Philips Law as they have covered everything with our wills swell as for everything for our 3 houses, great service, definitely recommend.

As always, Phillips Law was professional, treated me as an individual and was sensitive to my needs.
On this occasion, Sian Lias was dealing with my will. She instantly understood what I wanted to achieve, even when some requirements were a little less straight forward.

First Class Service Lisa Rigby and her Team
I have been using Lisa Rigby and her team Steph Statham, Catherine Killeen at Phillips Law & previously Brain Chase Coles to Buy and Sell properties mainly High Rise Apartments for over 15 years and I would thoroughly recommend the service they provide in navigating through all of the hurdles & Regulations involved these days in Buying and Selling High Rise Apartments.
My most recent Sale and Purchase were both in the Bournemouth area and I could have chosen some local Solicitors but I made the right decision in using Philips Law even though they are located quite far away in Basingstoke, that is testament to how good they are.

My wife and I both needed to create new Wills and had been recommended to use Sian Lias, Partner at Phillips-Law.
First impressions were excellent as it was easy to make an appointment and we were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived for our first meeting. We had our meeting with Sian who had Fazila Akhtar alongside her as trainee solicitor on her 1st day. Sian explained everything we needed to know about what to include in our Wills including considering 'a doomsday scenario' and what we would want to do if the worst ever happened. It certainly made us think carefully about who we wanted our estate to pass on to.
Following receipt of our draft Wills, we made a few amendments by email and once these were approved, we visited Phillips Law to duly sign our Wills.
All email correspondences were handled very efficiently and promptly by Fazila and we found the whole process was flawless.
Would highly recommend Sian at Phillips Law.

Sian Lias, Partner at Phillips Law has recently helped me to revamp my will. It’s always a difficult thing to consider what will happen to your loved ones after you’ve passed on, but Sian has been absolutely fantastic. I instructed Phillips for the sale of my shared ownership property. It has been a lengthy process (10 months) due to losing a buyer and my solicitor Lisa (and Claudia in her absence) has been nothing but great the whole time. Have sold and bought a number of properties over the years using Phillips and specifically Jon Coles. Jon and his team have always been professional, quick to respond and there has never been any delays or issues due to them, it has always been the other parties solicitors holding things up when delays have happened.
