Prezzos are no longer Gluten Free accredited
Very disappointing that Prezzos are no longer able for those who have gluten allergies or coeliac and even more disappointing that they are not mentioning this in restaurants! This is huge news and a huge risk to those who can't consume gluten - please be careful.
Only taking prior reservations - what a joke!
We wanted to take my partner's sister for lunch at Prezzo in Southport. We arrived not long after midday but was told by a supercilious waiter that they weren't serving anyone who had not booked in advance. The idea that they were fully booked upstairs and down (it's BIG) on a Monday is absurd. So we didn't even get in. We had a lovely lunch at Occulo Lounge over the road though and we'll never eat at a Prezzo restaurant ever again. This kind of stupid attitude is just crazy.
Poor customer service
The food was nice however when I got home and checked my bank statement I had been charged £25 more than my bill had stated. I have rang the restaurant and have been told on multiple occasions they would call me back. I have also emailed head office and I'm still waiting for a reply. So I'm still no close to getting my money back
Total con
Total con - bought a voucher and can’t use it in my local Prezzo, Have asked for a refund and been totally ignored
Excellent meal
Excellent meal, but not happy with the service charge. This is not shown on the menu. There is no incentive therefore from the staff to give good service if they get a tip anyway. It would be more honest to add a percentage to all prices. A bottle of wine priced on the menu as £24 is in fact costing £26.40
What a huge disappointment
What a huge disappointment. The food was terrible, particularly the burger. It came without fries for £15. It was in a plain roll probably from the coop around the corner. The bun wasn’t toasted. The cheese was non existent. It’s debatable if the meat was cooked. There was a slice of lettuce and some runny liquid on the plate. It was appalling. My father had the stuffed mushrooms. They were supposed to be large and stuffed. In effect it was sliced mushrooms in a creamy sauce. The cannelloni was luke warm, the chocolate ice cream was inevitable. The management knew we were unhappy but avoided us. A nice waitress came over eventually to hear our complaints and took the burger off the bill.
We will not be going back, terrible experience.
Warm food.rude staff.dirty restaurant
Got here for opening time 11.30am bank holiday Monday. Tried door open walked in.woman said open at 12.although says 12 on website.11.40 manager woman says you can cone in if you want.i said sit anywhere.she grunted yes!
So sat on 1 of 5 tables covered in salt next to the dusty plant pot and chips on the floor. Ordered 2 cokes. Then the food. I asked if they did dough balls the manager woman(rude pig) said are they on the menu ? No!
5 minutes later pur food came. Mine was Chicken carbonara. Was stoggy and dry no sauce at all. The chicken tasted of water and was barely warm. I called a waiter over. Explained. He picked my food up said sorry walked off.so I'm sat there no food and hungry. Gf finished hers which again was warm.we went to the counter and the rude manager was there again showing off her new fake nails ro 2 other staff .said everything OK? Said no the food was disgusting and inedible. (The bloke didn't pass the message on) . Said im not paying. She grunted something again. Said u can go ..by this time my gf was getting upset and worked up. We started walking out and thr manager pulled a face and said "enjoy your day"
Worse spaghetti bolognaise ever
Worse spaghetti bolognaise ever, watery, thin sauce, tasteless. Starter Luke warm inedible never again
Obviously don't care about their customers
What a load of rubbish. We had a reservation in Romsey but when we arrived the reception area was crowded with about 20 people. Turned out they all had reservations but were being expected to stand and wait for their reserved tables. Some had earlier reservations than us and had been waiting longer than 20mins. The staff had no solutions other than to gladly accept us cancelling our reservation.
I subsequently complained (to the getintouch@prezzo address), had an auto reply that "a guest relations advisor will be in touch asap" and a week and a half later have heard nothing more.
Leave more than 2hours if you want food!
We recently booked to go to Prezzo in Canterbury for 5pm sit down as we were due to watch a show at 7pm.
On the booking form it asks for details we put in a kids eat free code, ticked the blue light cardholder and also ticked birthday on the occasion. It states the restaurant will know all this information when you arrive. The birthday was for my little boy who was turning 7 and having his first proper restaurant meal out.
We were a little early and got there at 4:50pm this was no problem and they sat us down straight away at this point it wasn’t very busy about 5 or 6 tables full. No mention of happy birthday which I found odd seeing as I put this on the list.
We ordered our food and I will admit by about 5:10pm the restaurant was full. We sat and waited…. And waited… I called the waitress over at 6:15pm to say we had been in here for nearly an hour and a half and still not had our food she just said “we are a bit slow tonight” this was the only interaction between us ordering and the 1.5hour wait. We had to now be at a show in 45mins and still had not eaten. We continued to wait then a different waitress came over and said your food will be out in two mins. My wife got her meal at 6:21pm then my little boy got his meal at 6:25pm and I finally got mine at 6:30pm. We then asked for his ice cream straight away as we had no time. She did come back straight away with the ice cream.
My little boys first experience of a restaurant is now waiting 1hour 40minutes for food and then having to eat his main and dessert in a rush. At no point did anyone apologise or offer us a complimentary item. Then when we went to pay they had no idea of the code I had put in online and still no mention of the birthday occasion as per the form completed online.
There was a family near us who got there mains after us and had to ask for it to be put straight back into a box as they needed to go.
Such a poor service with no apologies, no explanation and then still expected to pay full price.

Just visited Prezzo Cheam for mothers…
Just visited Prezzo Cheam for mothers day lunch which was very disappointing and expensive. Admittedly they were very busy, but service was abysmal. Starters and puddings were ok, though nothing for diabetic to have for pudding. Main courses not good. Pizza thin and not much topping, Sea bass small and dry, with very strange gnocchi quite mushy and sticky. Certainly not worth £25. Then to top it all we were asked to leave, so they could clear up for next customers. Won't be going again.

We recently visited Prezzo at St George’s Harrow.were given amazing service by Fabio and Valentina . Both were extremely friendly and welcoming, one of the best experience Looking forward to many more
Excellent service
We have been a few times now and been served by Tom who is always so friendly and helpful. Service has been very efficient and food always very good. We will definitely continue returning!
Overpriced, poor food, does not take cash, Poor Ingredients
At the door we were asked about any allergies (treating customers like children) and were told they only took cards, no cash. hats a disgrace. There should always be the option of cash no matter what. Had I not been with a friend I would have walked out! Anyway, the meal.
I ordered a pizza, peperoni. (very poor selection of pizza) It was very basic, sort of thing you get frozen an a supermarket and at around £14 expensive (and soggy)
My wife had a starter of Meatballs in a sauce, presentation was good and taste average. At £9 a very expensive starter. Next she had a a king prawn dish. he tomatoes in the dish were tinned, not fresh at all. Again, nothing more than average and at I think £17 way too expensive for what you got.
he service overall was good with pleasant staff.
his is a chain restaurant charging way over the top prices. hey need to adjust their price structure and greatly improve the menu
Would not go again
The atmosphere is great,good service.
The atmosphere is great,good service.
Unfortunately the pizza didn't taste like a pizza but dry bread not rised, the tomato sauce tasted bitter and the prawns and scamorza had half scamorza with barbecue sauce instead of tomato sauce, for £17 you could do so much better, thank you
Please change the basic ingredients.🙏
Visited Cheshire oaks prezzo arrived at…
Visited Cheshire oaks prezzo arrived at just gone 6pm, 2 adults 2 small children. 20 mins before we had drinks order taken, then well over an hour between starter and main courses and even then my burger was dry and close to blackened. Poor poor service then met with attitude asking for money off the bill. Will not be returning that’s for sure.
Best Italian food in Brighton &Hove
I don’t know what’s wrong with these people giving bad reviews, but this is a really legit Italian restaurant!
Ordered yesterday on uber eats and so glad I found this place 😍😍 the food was amazing!
I’m obsessed with food and this is a
100% honest review!
Prezzo has gone downhill.
We have loved Prezzo for the last 10 years+ ! Our local one closed about 4 years ago. So we went to our next nearest one which is Cheltenham for the first time in 2 years for my husband’s birthday and I was absolutely gutted ! Olives are my favourite, and they were disgusting ! Asked about them, they no longer use fresh ones. They tasted off to me. Wood-like. The garlic bread was half a thin base with garlic butter on it and very crispy and the side salad was practically all radicchio and smothered in balsamic vinegar. After I’d finished my main course of pesto gnocchi (I’m vegetarian) I noticed something at the bottom of the bowl. It was hard and triangular !!!! It looked like a burnt piece of fish skin. Yuck ! My husband doesn’t like me to complain and as I used Tesco vouchers to pay for the food, we just left. It seems lockdown and penny pinching has had a huge affect on my once favourite restaurant chain. Sadly, we will not be visiting Prezzo ever again ☹️

How hard is it to get a drink right but then to get you dietary requirements incorrect is a joke, maybe employ people that understand what you are saying 🤷♀️
