Professional Building Supplies Avis 

I was looking for facia, soffit and guttering and asked for a quotation, Marie emailed me back very quickly and was a pleasure to deal with she was great at responding and getting the quote sorted very quickly.

I have been in the construction industry for 26 years. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen. Contractors stay away from this company. They will over charge you, deliver wrong materials, and claim everything is a special order. When you ask them to pick up material, they want to charge you a 30% restocking fee.

I was considering giving Professional Building Supplies 4 stars because both orders of fascia board arrived damaged, they are not well protected. But because they addressed the issue in both cases without delay or hassle, therefore top marks for after sales service.

My advice to people, inspect every item the moment it is delivered for damage and don't delay reporting it with photos as backup.

I think the problem with my order (delivery) is with the (DX) courier's driver. He was in both cases in a hurry and in my opinion, mishandled the boards in-front of me because of it. I can imagine how he is when nobody is watching. I think he did not realise the boards are fragile.

This was the first time that i used PBS and found it a pleasure from my initial order to speedy delivery. I live in a remote area in northern Scotland and I think my client was happily surprised when the job was finished so quickly due to the purchase process being both speedy and the items being of excellent quality. I am a plumber and will be definitely using your service again.

some large orders placed there were items missing with both orders. Called regarding the first order, they said it was not possible for items to be missing as they double check all shipments. (not true) The second; they had clearly sent the wrong items which they replaced however when we called regarding items missing they refused to send the missing items. Avoid professional Building Supplies at all costs. They cannot be trusted to either get the orders correct or send missing items. Other companies offer a better service. Terrible. (They have since missed orders worth £4250)

Ordered a manhole cover. When arrived the plastic frame was smashed. Replaced with no quibbling.

Perfect delivery, service and price - This is what in line procurement should be.

I was having work done on my roof, this required scaffolding. I needed guttering quickly so I could fit it while the scaffolding was up to save money. Access to the gutter is not possible by ladder because of the conservatory.
I've grown tired of the unhelpful, couldn't care less attitude of local suppliers. One company only wanted to sell what they had in stock, which wasn't what I wanted, another quoted a ridiculous premium for a special order and several weeks to deliver.
I looked online for companies that could supply what I needed at a reasonable price and quickly. I phoned Professional Building supplies and they were friendly, helpful and professional and answered all my questions about the product. I placed an order on the weekend and it was dispached on Monday and arrived on Tuesday, the delivery driver was polite and helpful.
Unfortunatly one fitting was faulty, it was distorted and would not fit (manufacturing fault). This was not obvious and I only realised when I tried to fit it. I phoned and explained the problem and a replacement was sent and arrived the next day.
This company tick all the right boxes, supplying quality goods at a reasonable price and quickly. This is my first purchase from Professional Building Supplies and I can't fault the service I received. I would buy from this company again and would recomend them without hesitation.

Order placed after 12.00 but still received all goods by the following day.

Would have rated 5 star but had one query about the items for which I sent an email and nobody bothered to answer.
