In real terms the approval level offered was so inappropriately small compared to the businesses turnover $6k loan on a business that is special as it has unique low cost of goods, yet has a consistent income almost $6k PER WEEK showed two things. This organisation as fundamental flaws in how they assess a business (mine is 21 years old incidentally), the credit department are completely inept, but most concerning when I wrote back to them and pointed out that if I was to accept a loan for $6k, then they should not be loaning us money. If we accepted that utterly inappropriate offer it would be put of some desperation, which would show poor health of our business and a likelihood of failure.

Thats bad lending practices, worst still, when pointing out these concerns also indicating I had no intention to take up such an offer. They could not even bother replying. These types of lenders, and there are a few have all.made offers to our business, the range of such offers were from this $6k, $15k, $50k and one that unless you call them getting information is like pulling teeth (I like everything in writing and that's the way I've done business in the last 30 years).

Frankly, what I waste of my time. I'll arrange to use some money I had tucked away for a property purchase, but of course I'm fortunate to have that ability, others don't and their time being wasted is why I've spent my time writing this review.

Excellent service and so easy to deal with. Compared to other lenders the rates from Propell are exceptional.

Been using propell to help with my business cashflow for a about 12 months and it’s always been easy and hassle free.

The idea is great but the execution is lacking transparency.
I would not consider this a line of credit, they offer loans. Why? Because they recheck your credit worthiness at every withdrawal as per their guideline.
Imagine if your credit card would check your credit worthiness before approving every purchase.
I'm not saying they can't do it, I'm saying they should advertise/warn people that the approved limits you have are not usable until they reassess when you need it... hardly a line a credit.

I've never had my credit cards limits or overdraft limits reduced or cancelled when I needed to use them.

Overall you can't rely on them if you want to keep it as a backup solutions and therefore I think calling this a Line of Credit is pushing the marketing boundaries.

Because of income issues which were exacerbated by Covid, we had cash flow difficulties. Propell were very understanding and helpful with us in overcoming the problems.

I had a line of credit that I serviced regularly and never missed a payment. I request a new drawdown and was told that my line of credit will be cancelled due to my backing statement not supporting the advance.
In the first instance their application does not take into account that not all business operate in the same manner. I managed my cashflow in a specific manner, and I explained this to the team when I applied for the original line of credit. In my opinion Propell might have operated within the service guidelines , but it sure was not ethical.

The final comment I would like to make is that their platform is riddled with bugs. The IOS version crashes when you selected your current loans and their is a discrepancy between the amounts shown on the android and website portal. Their 1300 contact number also did not work ,as I was told by OPTUS that the number does not exist or have been disconnected.

Good service, fast turnaround and hassle free.

Lack of communication, insufficient credit given compared to amount applied for, no reason for credit provided. Not even a phone call !

Still waiting for somebody to contact me for an initial chat.

The concept and sign up and approval process was excellent. I had an initial set up issue and it was resolved promptly.
