I use Protyre regularly
I use Protyre regularly, mostly the parade.
I wanted my rear tyre alignment checked, a free service offered and one I have used before.
The alignment needed adjustment, when asked if they can match the online price, half price at £22 approx I was told no, they now use a new computer that cost over £100,000 as the old laser correction had proved to be “rubbish” in comparison.
I asked of the cost of adjustment on the new computer which was £120
I told them to proceed as I wanted my car to be 100%, yet they had corrected my front wheel alignment a few months earlier for approximately £22
While I did authorise the adjustment to the alignment, having to pay6 times the quoted online price is poor customer service, even more so that I was regularly customer who had just had the front wheels aligned a few months earlier for approximately £22
Forgive me if I’m wrong, but a sudden purchase of a £100,000 computerised machine to justify a 6 fold price increase, when the front alignment was adjusted a few months earlier with the older, laser machine, now described as “rubbish” does set the alarm bells ringing
I will consider where I put my business next time, rather than just rely on historical great service.

Excellent service!
The staff are more then helpful I made appointment to get three tyres changed which was quick and painless. Then a couple of days later had to change the appointment which was just as easy. The service on the day was polite and very quick and professional. Will be advising anyone who will listen to use them!

Very helpful staff
Very helpful staff. I had my car booked in for a mot and service, which I dropped off at 10:30. I needed it back to do the school run by 2:30pm, which I know was a big ask but they had it done by 2pm, great service!
