Easy website to use
Easy website to use. I knew what I wanted as I have used Purlfrost before. I ordered precut as it looks a lot nicer and professional when up and the instructions re measurments when ordering are very clear and simple. The film comes well packaged. I would use again

Works every time
I ordered a roll of window film cut to size in a stained glass pattern from Purlfrost maybe three years ago. They supply the squeegee thing you need and clear instructions with every order and we installed it without any problems and it’s still in place today looking great. Recently I wanted some plain frosted film but couldn’t remember where I’d got it from before and had to order from another company. The
product was inferior and had many air bubbles which we couldn’t get rid off so abandoned it. A complete waste of money. A little while later going through emails I found my old order from Purlfrost. This time I ordered the frosted privacy film and two patterned designs as well. These are so easy to use, just follow the instructions, use the tool provided and it goes on and stays on. I will never buy from anywhere else!

Initially wrote a poor review, without giving the company a chance to put right. Purlfrost contacted me and immediately offered to put the issue right at no cost to me. They didn’t even ask me to change my first review. I can highly recommend this company and will definitely use again.

Larger sizes are tough to apply
Due to the size of the film, I was left with a number of creases and wasn't happy with the final result. Even with two people, it wasn't easy to apply without the film curling up.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you found the larger size difficult to apply and weren’t fully satisfied with the final result. If you could provide us with an order number or your full name by email then we can advise more specifically on the product you have purchased.
When installing larger panels, using a very generous amount of soapy water on both the glass and the adhesive side of the film is key. This allows the film to glide into position more easily and significantly reduces the risk of creasing or curling during application. If too little solution is used, the film can grip too quickly, which can make handling more challenging — especially with wider pieces.
We’d be very happy to offer some additional guidance and tips to help achieve a smoother finish.

Quite disappointing.
The product is thinner and more brittle than previous films that I have purchased. The film split easily when trying to adjust it. I managed to get a reasonable result but nowhere near as good as previous times.

Japanese floral design in teal is the perfect window film for a cloakroom!

Managed to follow instructions and fitted it on our cloakroom window in response to my husband's concern about 'privacy' when using the room, despite it having semi obscure glass already! Took about 30 mins from cleaning window to putting film on and it looks great! No need to sort a curtain or voile and fit all that! Would highly recommend!

Great made to measure glass film
Great made to measure glass film. Not cheap, but you definately get what you pay for. Colours are bright and look excellent on the window. Instructions are clear and include the little squeegee for application. Delivery took a wee bit longer than I expected but I guess that's because it is being made to order so that's fine. Very happy and would use the company again. The chooce of designs is huge!

Sadly this really didn’t work. Possibly because we wanted an indoor transfer and received an outdoor one! What a mess, it had to be thrown away.

I can see from your order that your window measurement was 28cm x 28cm and within this there is a border around the edge and the house number (design HNC 6B)
We'll get one of the team to contact you directly and send a replacement if we've sent you the wrong thing! It should certainly be applied from the inside with the number in reverse.
