No plate received
Placed an order over a month ago, the plate was delivered to the wrong address via Royal Mail. I have repeatedly sent email asking “what is happening “ been told to wait for Royal Mail” I’m constantly asking for updates, but no further getting this resolved. I’ve paid for a product I didn’t receive… disappointing in this service. I’ve now asked for a refund or a replacement.. waiting to hear back.

Placed an order and was told after payment that documentation was required. Was not at home and needed the plates next day so cancelled my order. I was offered a refund but they want to take a £6 admin fee!
When I questioned the admin fee as it was not in the terms, they decided I could no longer have any refund as I was ‘escalating the matter unnecessarily’ 🤣
According to their own website and blogs, no goods have yet been produced, as they have not received or approved any documentation.
They want to keep my money for producing….nothing.
Seems their business model is built around trapping people and keeping their money. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible service. I made an error by mistyping the correct reg. They have taken my money and produced the plate but will not send me them as I have the v5c for xfu and not ufx. A mistake. But I haven't received the product or the refund. Melanie would not issue a refund due to plates being produced but surely its illegal to produce plates without the correct documentaion

Ordering my replacement plate could not be easier.clear steps to follow and everything worked well.
Ordered it over the weekend end, and it was cleared and supposedly dispatched on the Monday afternoon on Parcel Force 48.
Then it went pear shaped. Parcel Force say they are expecting it. Quick plates say it’s dispatched.
Tried contacting Quick Plates through their own site, but no correspondence.

Bought a number plate weeks ago and still haven't received it. Emailed customer service last week and still awaiting a response. Dreadful service and a waste of money!

Be extremely careful if you decide to use this company.
They will take your money and only after you’ve paid do they tell you that they need documentation.
This is a very underhanded way to do business.
They always say the plates are manufactured within an hour (even on a Sunday at 4pm) so if you need to cancel you’re always too late.
They are rude and unprofessional and treat customers like dirt.
I needed to cancel an item but was told it had been made.
They sent me an email with a timeline clearly showing they were made long after I wanted to cancel.
If I could have given zero stars I would have.

We reject this review entirely.
The documentation requirement is clearly stated throughout the ordering process and is a legal obligation for all registered number plate suppliers. It is not something introduced “after payment”, nor is it optional. Customers purchasing road-legal plates are required to provide proof of identity and entitlement before dispatch.
Your order was processed in line with the details submitted and within our stated production timescales. Manufacturing and dispatch approval are separate stages, which has also been explained previously.
We also note that this review has been amended following ongoing legal proceedings. False and defamatory allegations such as calling a legitimate DVLA-registered supplier “scammers” are taken seriously and have already been addressed through the appropriate legal channels.
In addition, your correspondence to us included threatening and abusive language towards staff, which is entirely unacceptable and has been retained as part of the evidential record.
We remain confident that our records, correspondence, and compliance procedures fully support our position.
Satisfaction
The fact that the company are registered with the DVLA and that I'm not dealing with a rogue organisation .

Good company - would recommend
Really easy to use, and once I placed my order their updates were excellent. I had to provide proof that I owned the car I was ordering a replacement plate for, but that was also a very simple process of uploading a couple of photogrpahs.

Ordered a numberplate with fixing Kit
Ordered a numberplate with fixing Kit. It has arrived without holes which rather negates the point of the screws I purchased from them. The last numberplate I ordered from someone else came with holes. I’m sure they will tell me I can drill it myself but this will be tricky without a drill! I’ll just order another one from someone else….

All of our number plates are supplied without pre-drilled holes as standard. This is because every vehicle is different — the positioning, number of fixing points, and even whether holes are required at all can vary significantly from one car to another. Without physically seeing the vehicle, we wouldn’t be able to accurately determine where or how many holes should be drilled.
Pre-drilling can often lead to incorrect alignment or damage to the plate, which is why plates are supplied blank to ensure the best possible fit when installed.
The fixing kit provided is universal and allows you to secure the plate in the correct position for your specific vehicle.
