Raymour & Flanigan - Poughkeepsie Avis 

I went to the showroom and chose a lift recliner, of course it wasn’t in stock. They finally called on a Sunday and we set delivery next day. Delivery was good except I had to wait the entire day. I thought the chair might be different as it looked bigger. Well, I could not sit in the chair, it was too high but the one in the showroom was fine. I called to see if they could take this one back and give me the floor model. After being on hold for over 8 minutes trying to get a manager, no one knew the answer and asking for my phone number for the third time, they said they’d call back, they did a few hours later and they said no returns. Now I am stuck with a chair I cannot use, this is where I am supposed to sleep due to medical issues. I was willing to take a floor model not even knowing how old it was and obviously countless people sat in and they would have a new chair that cost an arm and a leg. No concern that I lost all that money and the managers answer was, just sit in it and wear it in. DID you not understand me when I said I can’t sit in it? And no, due to the same medical issues, I cannot put a step or anything to get up in it nor did it work trying to use the lift a bit to try to sit in. My last purchase was canceled by me after they changed delivery date then failed to bring it sayin oops, it wasn’t on the truck. I should have known better. The floor staff was very nice but they don’t tell you everything. Shame on them.

We bought a sofa that was on clearance and it was delivered today in Wallkill, NY. The sales process went well, the sofa was a great value & we got what we ordered (let's see how it holds up with time), but people forget that the delivery process is as important as the purchase. If you have horrible delivery men, it makes the purchase a negative experience. Today we had 2 hard working and humble men deliver our sofa. They were great and very hard working men who took pride in their work. You don't always get that from companies who hire subcontractors to do their deliveries. I was told the delivery men were Raymour employees and I hope they know how valuable they are and the good job they did.

This is a follow up to my first review. If you are thinking about purchasing anything from Raymour & Flanigan think twice. I regret purchasing anything form this company. They are not honest and their representatives are rude.

I purchase these chairs because they look gray in the store, was told by the sales rep that they were gray and the description on the website and in the store states that they are gray. These chairs are actually beige. When contacting the store I was told that it was nothing that could be done. The manger Case even went as far as to tell me I needed to change the lighting in my home, and that if I brought the chairs back to the show room they would look gray. I purchase these chairs under the assumption that I was getting gray chairs and after looking again at my invoice the chairs are described as Rapture (Nature) and not Gray/Expresso as it is online or in the show room.

I reached out to customer care several times every time they sent my call back to the store I purchased the dinning room set from. I asked for a number to contact cooperate and was told they didn't have one that I had to call customer care which then sent my call back to the manager Case. I asked Case why hasn't his manger contact me? he stated" oh no one called you? well I spoke to my manager and we aren't taking the chairs back, but I can ask him to contact you again". I also emailed rfcare who responded to my last review asking me to contact them in which I did on 11/23/2023 and they have not responded to the email or have contacted me in anyway.

Go with a company that can take accountability for their mistakes and treat their customers like they matter. Raymour & Flanigan is not that company and I wouldn't purchase anything else from them or recommend their company based on the experienced I received.

Flawless purchase from start to delivery. Our salesman, Steve, was excellent. Provided factual information and didn't push. Spoke with the manager (Case or Chase?) who was extremely helpful. Excellent customer service from salesman, manager, check-out and delivery. The two delivery men were helpful, efficient and careful. We have a newly built house and have purchased many items and this was the best and easiest experience. We've purchased two sets of couches in the past and they held up well for a very long time. We're looking forward to enjoying the new Halden Server with Wine Storage unit which arrived in perfect condition. We're also very pleased with the quality!!

Saleswoman was very patient with us and showed us everything we thought we would like. She was spot-on with items.

Customer service needs to improve by knowing how to treat their loyal customers!

On Oct 12th I made a large purchase with cash. I also wanted to order a futon, which I did, but I had to measure the space first and was told if I came back right away the delivery charge would be waived. I was back in your store paying cash on Oct.15 and both times myself and the person with me heard delivery charges would be waived for the futon because it could be added on.Please credit me $54.00 for futon delivery.Thank you.

The salesman was a big help and explain everything about the different mattresses. He had us try them to see how we felt on the different firmness. He was very knowledgeable and also very nice.

The company did well by hiring Angela! My family and I are moving and I’ve been stressed looking for a bedroom set that I would be comfortable and happy with. Thank you Angela for giving my friend and I our space to look around and then jumping in at the perfect time to show us the options available. She took her time to explain the process and features of the sets / mattress. She made the interaction comfortable and unforgettable. Thank you Angela for your professionalism and amazing customer service!

Raymour & Flanigan is doing everything right. I had bad experience with Ashley furniture. Canceled the order and went to Raymour & Flanigan. The service was great. Salesman Bill was a professional at his job and delivery guys also. Rated at 10 out of 10.
