Issue with Incorrect AC Cover Order – Request for Resolution
I placed an order in May of last year for an AC cover, identical to one I had previously purchased from you for my RecPro Houghton 3400. I ordered the same item number both times, which you can verify from my order history.
When I finally went to use the new cover, it did not fit. Since the prior one fit perfectly, it’s clear the wrong part was shipped despite the matching item number. I understand that a significant amount of time has passed, and I accept partial responsibility for not checking the fit sooner. That’s why I asked if you could meet me halfway on a replacement.
Instead, I was offered two discount codes (3%: XK7PLMZQ and 5%: signup5), neither of which worked. While I recognize your return policy, the fact remains that I received the wrong part, and the delay in discovering it does not change that.
Unfortunately, I have no alternative vendor for this cover, so this situation leaves me in a difficult position. Going forward, I will check fitment within 30 days to avoid a similar issue, but I am very disappointed with the lack of resolution on this matter—especially given the relatively low cost of $34.
I hope you will reconsider and work toward a fair solution.
