I think this is a scam. They get all your information, dangle a job in front of you and it never pans out. "Customer service" has no idea what to do. Don't waste your time.
After two weeks of outright ignoring questions about pay clarification and not correcting people who assumed, with good reason, that it was normal, they randomly changed the story from "front end error" to "oops we overpaid you" and threw taskers an email saying they need to send back hundreds, or for some over a thousand dollars.
Communication and organization is really bad at this company and you'll not get much help from support. I have worked for multiple 1099 jobs and this place earns a huge flashing BEWARE sign from me. Your experience will be based on luck basically - it's totally possible to have a good experience here but the amount of miscommunication and misinformation is a serious problem.
I performed work for them for 10 months. You will constantly be switched into "new" projects. Removed from projects for no reason. They don't always pay for the work you've done and creating a ticket with support will only get you a "We don't know what went wrong but we're working on it." response, no matter how many tickets you create. The company is highly unprofessional and disorganized. They do mass hiring and people get dumped for unknown reasons. People are obviously not a valuable resource to this company, they are considered disposable. It borders on being a scam.
Weeks without any work. No one can tell you how they score or rate your work, and no feedback is provided. I completed the assessment on 7/4/2024, and got a couple of weeks' worth of work, then nothing. I still have not been paid the advertised $25 for completing and passing the initial assessment. Support is non-existant. All you get is a canned response.
These people need to close up shop. No communication whatsoever to help with issues. I sent in a support ticket over a week ago and have not heard from anyone. Their "chatroom SLACK" is EMPTY so no help there at all. Support keeps sending me to place a "ticket" which I have done but no reply. Forget this place and find somewhere else to put YOU TALENTS to better use!
