Assignment Transparency
I really like so many things about the platform although there are still some assignment issues that are making it difficult.

I really like so many things about the platform although there are still some assignment issues that are making it difficult.
The platform is slow, outdated, and difficult to navigate. We were explicitly told by our sales representative that we would be able to bid on Canadian business; however, after onboarding, we discovered that the available opportunities are almost entirely U.S.-based. As a small Canadian company, this makes the platform largely unusable for us. The mismatch between what was promised and what is actually available is disappointing and misleading. We would not recommend this platform to other Canadian vendors. Waste of time and money.
Luckily I didn't sign up for anything. I'm a DJ and band leader and Cvent+Reposite reached out to me to provide DJ services for an event by a specific client on a specific date. I smelled a scam, but responded to the event after they hassled me for weeks with phone calls (from India) and emails, but then nothing happened, the client never reached out, and the sales people never confirmed whether the client had actually received my proposal. I repeatedly asked about the proposal I had submitted and they continued to push me to create a profile and sign up . . . never confirming if my proposal was submitted. When I told them that neither I nor any of my network of colleagues had heard of Cvent or Reposite, they scoffed and patronizingly told me to google them as they are one of the biggest event planning companies worldwide, fortune 500, blah blah blah. Good thing I checked trust pilot, blocked them and deleted their emails.
Shady business tactic to get you to sign up. I received an email saying I had somebody interested in booking an event. When I responded that I had no idea who Reposite was they said that I had an account started. But I never did. At this point I did a little research to see if it was a real company or a scam. Once I read a little about the acquisition from Cvent I decided to open an account and I responded to the person who sent the request for an event at my venue. All that’s happened since is a bunch of emails and phone calls, trying to get me to sign up and do a subscription. After reading all the complaints about how they run their business, I’ll be canceling my account immediately.
I reached out to my account manager about some financial discrepancies. After 16 emails and 4 calls, I only heard back from their finance team after a month of trying to reach them. My account manager was great but the company is disorganized and has no respect for their clients’ time. I cancelled my membership immediately.
Like other reviewers here, the investment was not worth the kind of traction I have received using social media and industry contacts. When I tried to cancel well in advance of the year end, like other reviewers, they did not offer any concessions and even stated their legal team would come after me should the payment method default. Not the calibre or class one would expect from such a premium service.
Save your money and invest it in places that actually provide tangible results!
As a small event entertainment company, signing up for Reposite turned out to be a costly mistake. They locked us into an expensive annual subscription with no clear cancellation option, and unfortunately, delivered zero meaningful value during that time.
Despite their promise of connecting vendors with high-quality event clients, we received no decent leads or opportunities throughout the subscription. It felt more like a sales pitch than a true service.
When we realized it wasn’t working for us and attempted to walk away from the remaining balance, they responded by involving a collection agency—a pretty aggressive and disappointing move for a platform that didn’t deliver what it promised.
Overall, I’d strongly caution other small businesses from signing up unless you’re ready to commit to a high-cost, low-return service with no flexibility. Total bummer.
Reposite is a scam. I signed up as an AV Vendor for 2 locations and got 2 leads in 5 months but only 1 prospect replied and event ended up being cancelled. The Reposite sales team and their website will entice with you with thousands of planners. Where are the leads? We've been very busy with our google ads ad social media ads but not Reposite. Don't waste your money.
