Efficient service with a caring family feel
Having not had a good service from a national car dealership, I've liaised with the service desk here with regards to warranty work.
James has gone out of his way to action everything in his control and to keep me fully informed of things that out of his control, due to current supply and delivery issues. He has been consistently efficient, thorough, friendly and genuine, building up a real trust for me to keep my business with Richard Sanders for many years. All my queries have received same day responses (or next day if made late in the business) day, exceeding expectations. My face to face experience with service desk colleagues (Nathan) has equalled the telephone and email communications.
They are making a potentially stressful time much easier and deserve all credit.
Fantastic Dealership
Fantastic Dealership, from Buying Process to Service Team. Nothing is ever too much trouble for Richard Sanders to do for you. To me its more important who you buy the car from and the after sales service rather than the car. When cars need repairs etc you want this handled efficiently and professionally, both of which you get with Richard Sanders. Can't fault them. Highly recommended Renault Dealer
Terrible for a dealership.
Purchased a car from the Peugeot dealership they own. Cost just shy of £9000, had not test driven because I expected a high quality car from a dealership. On picking the car up the clutch seem on its way out, making it hard to drive, I immediately raised my concern, and was told its the way Peugeot's are ! I continued to raise concerns, because trying drive it was awful, they denied it was worn on several occasions. So I took it to two different independent garages and asked for a clutch check, both stated the clutch was wearing out. The headlamp was full of condensation so I asked for it to be replaced. Locking wheel nut missing, with no way to change the spare in the car. Gary in Peugeot after sales is particularly bad, rolls out loads of rubbish, and blamed my driving. Had 12 months warranty included in sale. After stating my rights to Richard sanders, I clearly communicated I would prefer the car to be fixed. In the end they took it back for full refund and I gave me old part ex back, it puts me out if pocket because they wouldn't fix it. Very poor will be informing Peugeot of my full experience with Richard sanders.

Absolutely awful. I have brought cars from garages for 15 years and have never been spoken to or treated the way I have with this company . Aggressive and unreasonable salesmen that coheres you into buying with a load of rehearsed rubbish .

Brought a captur for my daughter
Brought a captur for my daughter , Craig was very helpful not pushy done every thing he said travelled over 100 miles so was not 100% sure if wanted to travel that far but glade we did for this 1 owner, low mileage low priced car with 12 MTHS warranty. only thing was that 1 alloy had lacquer damage but car is still under warranty will get done at our local dealer ,have had this happen to 2 of my alloys on a year old Hyundai santafe which they replaced whole alloy we are very pleased
Don't believe the quote!
Daughter's car in for a service, quoted £1700 including work identified (the car is probably worth about £1k!) Took it to another garage (further away, hence using Richard Sanders to start with), long-time friend of a friend (so we trust the information) - and got it fixed and serviced for £385. Price included a new starter motor, which wasn't included in the RS quote, but didn't include the £800 quoted for a clutch that, it turns out, didn't actually need replacing. Unbelievable! I understand that dealerships are more expensive than other outfits, but it's this sort of 'trying it on' nonsense that has to stop.
