Richer Sounds - Sheffield Avis 

I liked the fact that i got advice over the phone about the speaker cable I wanted was no longer available.And that it's equivalent would be about six pounds a meter. "come in and we ll sort you out"
What I didn't like was travelling into Sheffield, and then a half an hour walk from the car,for Geoff to say it's 10 pound a meter. When the other sales assistant checked the computer , it was indeed six pound. I said I'd like seven metres please.Geoff said,we haven't got that much. If I d known this fact , I would have flipping well ordered it over the phone. He did give me free delivery, but I wasn't going to be home the next day so I had to get it delivered to the shop,and once again drive fifteen miles into sheffield, And take a thirty minute walk,up the hills of sheffied and back another 30. Followed by the drive home. The new cable cost me 52 pounds. I could have got the same cable from amazon, sat back and had it delivered to the door on the day I required it.Update.
David from customer service fond of me as soon as you got word of this review, and made things good. He apologised for the confusion and graciously offered me half the purchase price back. It just shows that these reviews are indeed taken notice of. Richer Sounds has incredibly good.Customer service.

Really good customer care and quality range of products. Only slight drawback was not knowing what exactly came in the box. Decks did have slipmats and headshells included, which wasn't available info

I needed to replace the stylus on an Ortofon 2M Red which I'd managed to break by fitting the very poorly designed cover. The guys at the Sheffield branch didn't have one in stock, but arranged for it to be delivered from their warehouse. It arrived the next day, less than 24hrs from ordering. Excellent service. Olli and Dave got my selected tv to my door despite not having it in stock, in less than 24hrs. This is my 6th tv (amongst other products) from Richer Sounds. I have never had any issues the products are long lasting, and prices are competitive. They want you to be a customer for life, there is simply no reason for anyone not to be so. I rang Richer Sounds Sheffield, enquiring about Sonos Beam gen2. The manager informed me that he had one in stock and could reserve it for me. I went to the shop and spoke with the manager who reassured me that the product would do the job of improving the dialogue on my lg tv. I bought the item and have been absolutely thrilled by the result. Even my ever sceptical wife admits that the tv sound has improved. Thank you richer sounds for excellent product knowledge and great advice.

Very easy ordering, found what I wanted and item was dispatched to carrier quickly, unfortunately their carrier let them down and tv didnt arrive the day it was due, BUT after contacting Richer sounds the customer service was incredible, they arranged delivery with a different carrier the following day and it arrived early than said, also a follow up phone call to confirm everything was ok, this is exactly why I didnt buy from an electrical supermarket type shop, the personal service from Richer sounds was amazing, I would have no hesitation recommending them and using them again myself

Fantastic advice. Sometimes a lot to take in but what an absolutely fantastic system I bought. I didnt spend a fortune, just above entry level but it is amazing. Much better than I expected. Its like I've discovered music again.
