ROSE Bikes Avis 5

I recently visited Rose in Biketown. This company is the real deal with a huge store and even larger factory warehouse down the road.

Once I’ve booked my collection, the service I received from Christoph was excellent. He was kind enough to think about having an English speaking staff member available when completing the handover. Although I didn’t make use of this, they had an in store bike fit studio.

The store itself was unlike anything I’ve seen here in the U.K. 3 retail floors full of bikes and all accessories needed to build many bikes.

My only wish would be that Rose return to the U.K.

I have ordered a Count Solo during lockdown and the bike was on back order. The announced delay was 8 weeks and the bike finally arrived 5 weeks after ordering. I have had a good exchange with Rose teams as well. The Count Solo is the best value for money out there ! Incredible equipment and frame for the price. Rose deserves to get more famous !

Rose bikes looked like a good choice for my purchase, but having ordered my items I noticed after a few days they were not dispatched. I contacted customer services who replied two days later saying that due to Covid-19 shipments are delayed. That's fair enough, but I needed the items quickly so I asked for the order to be cancelled. They cancelled the order, but still charged my card! I've emailed three times but after several weeks I've had no response and no refund - not good enough!

Ordered an ebike they advertised on their UK website. Order was accepted but the bike was then out of stock the next day which was understandable as such bikes would be built to order.

A week later whilst the order was still in processing Rose removed my chosen bike from their UK website. I contacted them to find out what was happening with my order but got no reply. I then cancelled the order and did receive a reply saying the order had already been cancelled although in my account the order still appeared as in processing.

Rose simply explained that they do not ship ebikes to the UK (also not to Ireland) but checking mainland websites their full range is available across Europe.

It's disappointing that they don't ship their range of ebikes to the UK as they look good value but more disappointing that they advertised them in the first place with no intention of fulfilling any orders and that they hadn't thought to inform me having placed an order.

Very competitive prices and sometimes cheaper than some UK suppliers – even with shipping costs from Germany.

Customer services respond reasonably quickly regarding product technical questions.
