Don’t put any of your contact information, they will probably sell it to some company to ping call your phone.
The day after I registered on their website I started to get random ping calls for three days straight. I’m assuming that they had something to do with it.

They treat employees like t-shirts

They treat employees like t-shirts. My wife worked for them. They take a long time to pay. They switched her over to biweekly pay, which did work for a month. Then, without telling her, they moved her back to monthly pay. No word. No warning. Nothing. When she told them she was biweekly and that she was now confused they fired her.

The payments where always late,and still refuse to this day, to pay a week equivalent of 350€

The work was fine and the experience was fine too, I worked as a collaborator in the Train AI department inside RWS Group.
The payments where always late, sometimes 2 weeks or more late, but that is not even the worst part, the worst was when they refused to pay, and still refuse to this day, to pay a week equivalent of 350€, they lied in the hours that I worked for, did not pay, and closed 2 tickets without solving the issue

diamond project scam

I have worked on the diamond project for two weeks and have not received a work order at all. I put in tickets and still nothing. I come here to see reviews and see that others are also not being paid at all. Maybe a class action lawsuit is on the horizon.

Honestly,

They sucks! The communication is horrible. You prob will rarely get a response and they will close your ticket. You have to keep begging about work orders and invoices and the hours that they put in the WO don’t align with hours that you’ve actually worked and input. You’ll get your work order a month after you’ve worked hours and hours, just for them to have the pay date for your invoice to be over another month from the date you create your invoice. This is insane. They have all these guidelines that they don’t follow.

Ze doen hun best, maar

Ze doen hun best. Maar communicatie is dus blijkbaar niet hun sterkste kant. Een te hoge vrachtwagen bij de Velsertunnel en toen die weg was. Bleef het stoplicht nog een kwartier op rood. Dit omdat er verderop een ongeluk was en de communicatie waren vergen om de stoplichten op groen te zetten.

This company is a huge scam

This company is a huge scam. They are enlisting you - to train the AI systems for free. You will work tirelessly , as I did , 40 hours one week on diamond project , just to never be paid. No it's not that they take too long to pay they don't pay at all. Ever. The people who say they have been paid are actually paid and scam reviews. This is a experienced and trusted review because as a private individual I gave it a four month try out and never once received any payments. Total scam.

Fraudsters

I had to fight, and I am still fighting, to get paid for the invoices I issued for the work I did. After countless and endless payment reminders, the first one was paid four months late, while the second one (dated September 2025, 120 euros) has not yet been paid. They keep finding excuses not to pay you, such as not having the necessary details in their system to make the payment (details that are clearly stated on the invoices). They also told me that they had no record of me ever having worked for them. Not content with continuing to defraud people, they are always on the lookout for new vendors. Perhaps they don't think people turn to solicitors, but unfortunately my family consists of solicitors and barristers, so they will soon receive a letter. I didn't think RWS could sink so low.

Misleading Job Practices and Potential Data Harvesting via "Ghost" Listings

I am filing a formal complaint regarding RWS TrainAI (a division of RWS Group/Moravia). I applied for a "Data Annotator" position which was advertised as open to candidates with my specific qualifications. Despite meeting every stated requirement in their public advertisement (including language proficiency and technical skills), I was summarily rejected with a generic claim that I "did not meet project requirements." This contradicts the explicit criteria listed in their own advertisement. The Issue:
This appears to be a practice of posting "ghost jobs"—advertisements for positions that do not actually exist or are not being actively recruited for—potentially used to harvest applicant data or maintain an illusion of growth. This is a misleading business practice that wastes consumer time and exposes personal data (resumes, contact info) to a company that lacks a genuine intent to hire according to their own published standards.
Desired Resolution:
I request that RWS:
1. Provide a transparent reason for the rejection that specifically cites which "requirement" was unmet, given that my application matched their public listing.
2. Or, admit that the position was not actually open/available as advertised.
3. Remove my personal data from their systems immediately if they have no intent to review applications fairly.

SCAM. Avoid at any cost.

SCAM. I have accumulated 20 hours work and still not received any payment. I sent a ticket and got a meaningless reply promissing further research into the matter, but after two weeks I am still waiting.

I will never work back for RWS.

RWS Rollercoaster

I started work with RWS 10/1/2025. Started working immediately after passing the assessments and racked up 70+ hours of work for October & November. I still haven't been paid as of 11/19/2025.

To be fair, I didn't know that I was classified as a Freelancer, which would've cut down on a lot of confusion, as Freelancers are paid 30 days after issuance of a work order, while Private Individuals are paid 14 days after issuance of a work order, and receive Tipalti links for payment. Freelancers do not. Instead, Freelancers create their own invoices after work orders are issued and input their banking details into Workzone. The problem is that there was no clear language in Workzone that identified my classification, and the payment details tab had not been populated. Creating a lot of confusion and headache, especially considering that I'm new to all this. The workaround is that Freelancers can ask for expedited payments for a 2% fee, but it's been about 2 weeks since I've requested more than twice and they owe me almost $1500, and now I'm afraid they'll either not expedite my payment but still deduct a fee, or create an issue that even further delays payment. It's been about 2 weeks since I requested a change from Freelancer to Private with no real helpful communication. And in the meantime I've had to create invoices from outstanding work orders under the Freelancer classification, with a pay date of 12/13, but I've requested an expedited payment with still no response.

I'm not sure if RWS is a scam. People have reported working well with them for many years. I'll just say that their communication and organization is atrocious, and their behavior scam-like. After raising issues of non-payment around mid-October, they suddenly paused then resumed my ability to work on tasks then started assessing my tasks in a manner that provided me with no transparency. What's worse is that when they finally submitted work orders for the work I did do, the orders shorted me on 8 hours, necessitating more tickets, more delayed and obtuse communication and the creation of another work order that now pushed my pay date further back and shorted me now about $100. When you submit your hours on a tracker form, you do not receive a receipt of what you have submitted. It's like what they do isn't necessarily wrong, but how they go about what they do raises a lot of red flags. Currently, I feel uncomfortable because there is work that I can do and I like the tasks, but it's uncomfortable to continue being offered work with no pay and/or outstanding payments. Like, lol, what the-

The optics are just not good. It's like AI is being used to scam humans lol.

I would steer clear of RWS if you're looking for financial consistency and stability. People have reported having no heat in their homes and being close to 'losing it all' depending on them. I haven't had any tasks for about 2 weeks, now suddenly there's a lot of work and I was classified as an unapproved annotator but now I've been changed to approved. And now they've deleted the time tracking form so there's no way to submit your hours while you continue to work. Initially, we were allowed to work up to 10 hours per day, then that was cut to 6 then 4, now 8, with the hours on the form and email from the team citing 2 different hour caps. Still no payment as of 11/21 for hours worked beginning 10/1. No pay and lots of work!

Did some work and when it came to…

Did some work and when it came to payment they just send an email saying "payment issue, please check information on Tipalti"

The Tipalti account doesn't even exist despite registering one and saving login details. So I have tried contacting someone and it's impossible. All the emails they send are saying do not reply, submit a support ticket. I did that 3 weeks ago and no-one has responded. I tried contacting the "project manager" and no response. Should have checked here 1st, it's clearly a scam like the 100's of others have reported.

SCAM, not Paying and Not Responding

After 2 weeks of sending emails and submitting tickets with NO ANSWER, I now realise this company is really a SCAM. I really thought they were a reputable LSP. Two months of hard work and not a single payment, not even a response to inquiries. What a shame.

Incredibly bad - avoid

Supposedly training the next generation of AI but they don't even have an imbedded system to track how much work you do.

Had 5 emails saying they couldn't recognise my bank details for payment so eventually gave up and blocked them. Actually awful. Avoid.
