Samadhi offers training in Shamatha (Tranquillity) and Vipashyana (Insight) meditation, yoga, and a program of core Buddhist teachings. These practices help you to relax and cultivate mental and emotional balance. We run in-person retreats introducing people to methods and practises which make them happier, more peaceful and positive people – meditation, yoga & Buddhism. Meditation is a method for calming the mind and developing a positive approach to life. Through meditation, we can learn to deeply relax, gain control of our feelings and emotions, find inner strength, and let go of negative states of mind such as stress and anxiety.

David and Manu are lovely, warm and friendly people, who have such enthusiasm and passion about what they do. The teaching and meditation practice during the retreat are so good for my wellbeing that I am trying to carry on with at home (with help from David’s brilliant book, the podcasts etc.). I’m so glad you’ve both chosen this life, as it’s been such a fantastic thing for me to have in mine! The venues are pretty spectacular too! Thank you 🙏😊

I attended a Relaxation Day Retreat at The National Botanic Garden of Wales. Fantastic!
This is my second time that i joined the Samadhi group and fully enjoyed myself on both occasions. If you are looking for a short break with a spiritual meaning then this a must. David and Manu are fantastic host providing a spiritual experience along side yoga. The food was fabulous and so was the stunning locations.

I went on a 3 day retreat in Yorkshire and had a marvelous enriching experience. David & Manu are just brilliant at what they do...meditation and yoga. They are so friendly, helpful,knowledgable and have made this retreat a great weekend. I and the others all agree we have learnt so much and come away with more love and compassion for everyone.

A truly delightful, friendly & informative retreat experience, so much so that this is my second retreat with Samadhi.
David & Manu are so lovely & kind, they made me feel completely at ease.
David is very gifted in guiding both the workshop and through each meditation. Manu’s yoga sessions were excellent & catered for all levels.
The whole event was wonderful and for me it was like a refresher course, not only solidifying the practices I learned before, but I also came away feeling empowered with lots of further practical tools and techniques.
I look forward to continuing my journey and highly recommend a retreat with Samadhi for anyone who is looking at improving their mental wellbeing.

Absolutely amazing David and Manu were so welcoming. I went with no expectations and learnt so much. I would recommend anyone to go. Everyone who attended were amazing and so lovely to connect. Being able to be yourself and to feel included was extremely special. Thank you everyone

I attended a retreat last week and left feeling recharged and peaceful. It was an insightful and calming experience. David & Manu were kind and helpful and ensured all of us enjoyed the retreat. I'd definitely recommend joining one of their retreats, you won't be disappointed!

This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I cannot recommend attending a retreat more highly. David and Manu are great hosts and the retreat is conducted in a relaxed yet organised manner. The combination of yoga, mediation and learnings was just perfect for what I was looking for. I met some lovely friendly people and will definitely be attending another retreat in the future and making use of the great online facilities. If you have never attended a retreat on your own before and are a little apprehensive, don't be. This is a great, supportive retreat and you will wonder why you haven't attended one before! Angela

What an amazing life changing retreat. I loved every minute. David and manu are so welcoming and give off such a kind and calm energy. The peace I felt during my retreat and the meditations have really changed my whole out look on my life and have given me a direction to work in that I hadn't had before

I wasn't sure what to expect before the retreat and was slightly apprehensive. I knew it was something I wanted to do but I needn't have worried.
The weekend was amazing. Very laid back and our hosts David and Manu were lovely. The meditations were wonderful and by the end of the weekend I practically floated home. The yoga was a great way to start and finish the day. The food and accommodation were excellent. I have carried on with my meditation practice and it has been so beneficial for my wellbeing. If this is something you are thinking about doing just book it, you won't regret it
Enrolled for the 5th August retreat this year - so pleased I did. The yoga was brilliant especially outside on the grass in the morning Sun. The mediatation was so good that I slept the best I had done for ages. The food was excellent - I have not had full vegan food before but it was delicious and so tasty. The catering manager was brilliant - so pleasant and plenty of food. The grounds and atmosphere were so beautiful. Finally I will always remember all the beautiful people on the retreat that were so kind. Have booked for next year!!

Attended the retreat in Oxfordshire in August 2022 and absolutely loved it! I hadn't done yoga or meditation previously but that didn't matter in the slightest because it was a beginner's retreat and it was very easy going. David and Manu were so kind and caring, and the attendees were very supportive of each other. It was such a wonderful experience that I have booked again for next year.

I was looking for a perfect retreat for my sisters and I. We found it. Beautifully paced and incredibly tranquil. The group members were so warm and friendly - there was so much positive energy in each session! I learnt a great deal about de-stressing and David has a great way of breaking things down into understandable, real life scenarios. I laughed, I cried and didn't expect to feel quite so moved. I miss everyone but I feel good about myself, and going forward I’m taking the Samadhi teachings with me. Highly recommended.

I attended the Silent Retreat in Snowdonia. It was a fantastic experience. The teaching and guidance was brilliant. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the food was excellent too. I can definitely say that my Practice has deepened through attending this Retreat I thoroughly recommend it. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Thank you David and Manu for making this such an enriching experience. I look forward to attending the next one!

Excellent day retreat experience for meditation and gentle yoga. I attended in Lampeter in a wonderful peaceful location. Like minded people attended which only added to the experience And new friendships formed. David and Manu are wonderful teachers, very experienced, open and approachable. Would definitely attend another retreat.
