They made a mistake colouring my hair, and instead of telling me about it, they tried to cover it up. My hair already damaged and I went to them for help, but now the colour is a mess, and the restorative treatment they used only lasted until I washed my hair the next day. Because of the extra time it took to cover up the mistake they made, they ran out of time and didn't actually cut or style my hair.
Paid them a fortune, left with the wrong hair colour, a head full of split ends and looked worse the next day. Wish I never went.

I was recommended by a friend to have my hair coloured and cut by Sarah Mason. I made the booking well over a week before the appointment and explained to the receptionist that it was my first time attending and Sarah had been recommended to me. I was contacted the day before my appointment with a request to attend 2 hours later after my original appointment time (Sarah must have been double booked). I agreed as I was flying out early the next day on a long awaited trip with social engagements. When I arrived well on time for my appointment, I was asked 'Did you have a patch test?'. I replied 'No' as I had not been informed a patch test was required when I first made the appointment. If I had been informed, I would obviously have attended for one before the formal appointment.
When I arrived, the clinic was obviously busy and after the receptionist asked me the patch test question, she went out to inform Sarah. Sarah introduced herself to me and apologised, saying a patch test was policy and I should have been informed. She asked me if I knew the name of the receptionist who made my booking? Of course I didn't know! It would be very easy for Sarah herself to find out same! So VERY disappointing. My friend who recommended the salon, never mentioned that she had to attend for a patch test. Although I fully appreciate it is very necessary, it may be that Sarah is already saturated with clients and does not wish to take on anymore. So, my advice is, if you are booking a colour first time, ENSURE you request a patch test, even if not requested, as when you attend for your appointment you will probably be very disappointed as in my case...
