Good sales people, no hassle just good information, and we got exactly what we were looking for

The sales person Marcus was polite, engaging and very knowledgeable. He made us feel very welcome and we ordered a 2 and 3 seater settee. His customer service was excellent.

No hassle from the staff they answered our questions when asked with plenty of knowledge.
Natalie made it easy for us and wasvreason we bought the sofa .
i also pay little bits off my balence so its not a big amount upfront to try and find.

Absolutely fantastic experience I was shopping for my first sofa when I was in Speke retail I went into another sofa shop and felt harassed. I decided to go to SCS where it was amazing Lisa was first staff member who welcomed me in with a big smile and Mel offered my mum a seat and a coffee she was very happy to have a seat while I looked around .
Not once did I feel uncomfortable I was left to look around when I did need help Marcus help me measure sofas while Lisa was chatting to my mum who can’t walk for long.
I could not make my mine up so I decided to think about it and that was absolutely fine with Lisa and Mel.
I returned a couple of days later after thinking about the experience within the shop and I felt comfortable going back in . Once again a big smile from the staff they where in the middle of moving stuff around and I the sofa I like had moved Lisa was very good in remembering which one I like and where it was. Marcus shown me around and I did decide to buy I was even informed about all the offers and delivery.
The whole experience was great staff was amazing helpful considerate and even asked about my mum.

Delivery was great phone me a hour before took all the rubbish away and even moved the sofas to where I wanted them
The staff shop are a credit to Scs and I could not fault them .
My niece is looking at buying a sofa and I am definitely taking her here

Lisa and Paul from the Speke store could not be more helpful. Visiting the store Paul helped measure the sofa we liked and looked into options they could provide even on a discounted model. A top service from Paul and Lisa who went above and beyond to help deliver the sofa quickly.

Now I have finally taken delivery of my sofa I can leave a review of the whole experience.

On the day when i popped into the Speke branch i had already decided everything i wanted and had details for a good deal SCS was running at the time. Melanie the member of staff who worked with me did an excellent job of refining the deal for me and answering any last minute lingering questions. Along with her colleague who helped make sure the deal went through i was super happy with the service in store. Not at all pushy like it was in the bad old days with a lot of sales experiences.

I was somewhat disappointed with how long it took to get the sofa. I did state that i wasn't in a rush however i wasn't expecting the delivery date to slip by over a month. I ordered the sofa towards the end of January. Delivery was expected early to mid march. I didn't actually get a refined date until just a few weeks ago in mid april. In fact i had to chase the order status myself via the website in march to see if it was still coming. It was only then i discovered that it had slipped. I had received no communication it would be delayed and actually didn't receive notice of this until after the original date passed and it was early April. I had gotten that date arranged based on annual leave. Fortunately the revised date also matched up with some annual leave it still required some changing of my plans for the week it was delivered. This is really the only negative of the whole experience. So with regards to updates on delivery shipping dates and communication I think that is something SCS need to work on.

Delivery on the actual day was fantastic and i have reviewed this separately as requested by SCS but i will note here that the team on the day were friendly, efficient and the actually communication on the day was just right.

So overall a good experience from SCS with a bit of room for improvement. I was very happy with the deal. And the sofa is fantastic. A much needed upgrade and replacement from a squishy old out of date sofa. Just temper any delivery date expectations or talk this concern out with sales staff if heading in store.

What a brilliant store! We originally just stopped by for a browse and ended up leaving with a new corner sofa, table, and lamp. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming—so much so that we were even offered a cup of coffee. Lisa is a true asset to the team, and both she and Mel were absolutely fantastic. There was no pushy sales talk; they chatted with us like old friends and genuinely helped us make the right decisions. Even the delivery team had great things to say about the staff and management at Speke. We’ll definitely be coming back and have already told all our friends and family about you.

The service from the shop manager was great. No sales pressure and he explained everything to us regarding the sofa and chairs. He even measured the sofa and had a conversation with us as to which sofa would fit into our room. He took the time to explain everything to us and we were happy with his service. His name was Marcus so did not get his surname.

The staff at the speke store were amazing from the minute we walked in. They didn't pester us but if we needed any information they were around to ask. When we returned on 2nd visit to place order they said we could bring our pug in, member of staff asked if he needed water and even offered chicken for him. I didn't get her name but she was lovely. Melanie the lady who helped us with the order was amazing, friendly and a credit to SCS.
We previously got a leather corner suite and chair from SCS 22 years ago and it's lasted till now. So that shows what a good company they are.
Lovely, friendly kind staff couldn't fault anyone but Melanie was outstanding.

What a brilliant experience had at SCS Speke. Melanie, Lisa and the team went above and beyond to help my choose my dream sofa! Moving house is hard enough and they made it so much easier for me. Nothing was too much hassle for them. Thankyou team I will be recommending .

Lovely staff, willing to help and not pushy. There was an issue once we got home though with the website as we went came home and measured up what we had ordered however, the measurements on line seemed wrong. This did cause a little argument between me and my partner and resulted in us having to go back in to store the day after to query this. The male was very helpful and we showed him he website and he did state that the website was wrong and he would feed this back.
If we had ordered on line originally we would never have made the purchase due to the size.

I went to scs with no idea on what I wanted I was greated by a lovely lady called Melanie who was extremely helpful she gave me excellent customer service as I was very anxious I was put at ease pretty much straight away she helped me find exactly what I needed for my busy household thank you very much,I walked away a very happy customer thank you to the Speke team you went above and beyond .

Paul helped us choose our sofa and arm chairs, he was brilliant, very helpful and knowledgeable, advised us very well on what was best for our needs, made everything very easy, lovely and friendly.

I found my salesman Paul really pleasant and unlike in other places, he was attentive without being pushy.

We were greeted by Melanie who was friendly and chatty. We told her our requirements and she guided us around the store showing us sofas which were within our requirements. We were also helped by one of Melanie's male colleagues ( sorry we've forgotten his name ) who was also very helpful and informative. We visited two other furniture shops in the retail park , then went back to SCS as the product and the customer service was far better.

The operatives were polite and respectful. They positioned the sofas where we wanted them. They called in advance to let me know they would be there within the hour.
They made sure we were happy before they left.

Scs have been a nightmare to deal with since we bought the sofa 6 months ago. Yes 6 months when I was told it would arrive within a couple of weeks.

So I really appreciate the care taken by delivery men.
