I'm done with ScS
I bought a sofa in August 2024 and they told me it was going to be delivered by mid-November 2024. I payed the deposit when I placed the order and was due to pay the rest when the delivery was confirmed. Their website doesn't have a tracking system anymore, it has been off for over a month, and the only contact for customer service is a telephone number that leaves you waiting for over 2 hours without picking up. I received a text message yesterday saying that my delivery was booked for November 26th (next Tuesday), and that I should pay the remaining amount by today, by 2pm, and that I had to call customer service to pay. I called them, spent 2 hours waiting TO PAY THEM, and the call ended without no one picking up the call. I don't want this sofa anymore. I want to cancel this order and receive my deposit back. I don't want to deal with ScS anymore. I'm done. Please, can someone help???

I am sorry to hear your order was delayed and that you had to wait to get through to our customer service team to pay the remaining outstanding balance. I can appreciate how frustrated and annoyed this may have made you feel and I apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.
Unfortunately we are experiencing high call volumes due to a new system being installed which has caused issues with our tracking system which is why we have removed it.
Whilst I understand your frustration at calling us to pay the balance your delivery in booked for the 26th November and is still within the expected delivery date therefore we are unable to cancel your order. Again we are sorry for any inconvenience caused by this.

Great experience
In store service (Sunderland) was great.
Delivery team were, fantastic. Was given delivery slot the day before, an email with a more specific delivery time the morning of and a call 20 minutes before arrival. The lads were exceedingly friendly and very straightforward.
Overall, very good experience.

Great delivery lads
Furniture was delayed but kept upto date throughout. Informed night before of time slot and updated on the day and delivery came as expected. Lads (Mick and Goffy) done fab job, rang 15 mins before due, in and out in no time with no problems and corner sofa is great 😃

Ordered a sofa on 6 October at Lincoln…
Ordered a sofa on 6 October at Lincoln branch on the understanding that deliver will take place on 8 November. Now in mid November and no idea of when delivery will take place due to ‘technical issues’!
This inefficiency has caused considerable inconvenience and difficulty. Refusing to refund. Sitting on a substantial payment. Terrible for a large company to mislead and inconvenience its customers!

Just to confirm the date initially provided for 08/11/24 was an estimate and so we do advise that this can change by 4 weeks either side as per your terms and conditions.
Your order has now arrived at our Distribution Centre and your delivery scheduled for 20/11/24.

Delivery and setting up of furniture
Keeping me informed of the delivery and where the van was on its deliveries.
The 2 lads that delivered were, helpful in every possible way. Friendly and very respectful of my home also kept me informed at all times as to what they were doing. These 2 lads are an absolute credit to the company. The lads were Bobby and Kai.

Extremely Disappointed with Service and Product Quality
I purchased a sofa from ScS and was initially told that delivery would take place within four weeks. However, my experience with ScS has been deeply frustrating and disappointing. The delivery was delayed multiple times, and I finally received the sofa nearly 120 days after the expected delivery date.
During this time, I contacted customer service several times, only to receive vague responses. Each time, I was told that the delivery would be within “28 days before or after” the contract date. Despite these delays, I decided to keep the order after eventually receiving the product.
To make matters worse, upon receiving the sofa, I discovered that the USB charging port on the side of the sofa does not work at all. This is a clear sign of poor product quality, adding to the disappointment I already experienced with the delivery process.
I have contacted customer service to resolve this issue, but the entire experience has left me questioning the quality and reliability of ScS. From the unprofessional handling of delivery timelines to the faulty product itself, I am extremely dissatisfied. It is clear that ScS does not prioritize customer satisfaction, nor do they provide the level of service one would expect from a reputable company.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend ScS to others. I hope they address these issues to prevent other customers from facing similar frustrations.
