Amazing speaker!
Helen McCarthy is an engaging and hugely knowledgeable speaker. Her own warm and caring personality also came through, with the reult that, when she spoke of going to Ghibli park at some point in the future I found myself really wishing i could go with her.
The time flew past and the Q and A was so interesting.

Helen McCarthy's talk on the Art History of Studio Ghibli was a tour de force that surpassed all our highest expectations. Fascinating, intriguing and magical, just like the underlying subject matter - talks have no business being this entertaining!

Ghibli fans, young and old, this will rekindle your passion for the movies you have already seen many times over, as well as inspire you to finally check out the ones you never quite got round to watching.

A really great evening. Lovely atmosphere, and a truly wonderful speaker. Helen's enthusiasm, knowledge and wit meant the time flew by, and we left absolutely buzzing with conversation off the back of all we'd learnt.

This was a very interesting and entertaining talk from an incredibly knowledgeable speaker. The venue was easy to find, the seats were comfortable and the atmosphere very supportive and accepting. I really enjoyed my evening.

Really informative talk with Dr Susanna Petche, she was so pleasant to listen to and so knowledgeable on Trauma/Anxiety. I hoped to come away with just one snippet of info that would be helpful, I came away with several, thank you for a lovely evening.

My first seed talk but definitely not my last : The History of Witchcraft & Women: Magic, rituals and the patriarchy was informative and enjoyable.

Excellent insightful and great to see so many under one roof who believe in the body and the need for trauma care and actually yes our professionals to believe in this and be allowed to feel also. Please keep drumming the heart of the soul

I've been to several seed talks now of varying topics, from kink to folklore horror to Studio Ghibli.
All have been brilliant, great speakers and loved the events.

Really informative and entertaining talk by someone knowledgable and passionate about the subject. Well organised event in a nice venue whicj had plenty of aircon, and staff were friendly too.

Duncan Cross is a very accomplished speaker, well versed in the research and clearly brings a balance with applying Reiki practice. He gave an insightful talk on the current state of the topic The psychology of Reiki. He was very clear about its current status and handled the multitude of questions with great aplomb. I really enjoyed this talk and would recommend it. I would like to see more from Duncan.

I haven’t had the pleasure of attending any seed talks in person yet. I have however attended multiple events online. I have many varied interests and always enjoy learning something new, and I can usually find a talk on one of my many obsessions available with seed talks. It is also very convenient to have the recordings so I don’t have to miss out on events i’m unable to catch live. I would, and have recommended seed talks to anyone and everyone.
