Same as others on here. Had windows and doors replaced and was pleased with the work. Then things went wrong. I signed up for other jobs and paid deposits. They did not turn up, kept giving excuses for delaying the work and are now not answering calls or emails. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
I had to give one star to submit this review. I would not give them any.

What a scam never use A L Evergreen Ltd/LA improvements ltd/Leo energy systems Ltd all registered with customs house as active all have the same address of 71-75 shelton street convent garden London wc2h9jq . I paid £1590 upfront for supply and fit upfront 20.8.2025 and 28.8.2025 a further £1,000for materials for re insulating and fitting loft boards rest of money to be paid on completion. They completed a contract form between us, reluctant to send a receipt but eventually received it 29.8.25. To date still not done still not paid my money back goodness knows how many phone calls and emails I've done to them they let it all go to answerphone .
So I am now going to the police with all my documentation to file for scam and fraud.
I wouldn't mind but I had used them before for replacement guttering fascia and soffits for which a great job was done which is why we went with them again. Dont be taken in by the sweet talk charm of Lloyd levi jennings or his pal known as alex.

Update 6.2.26 had a call from Lloyd a week agoim supposed to be getting my money back within the next 2 weeks. Which should be 13.2.26 let's see what happens. Its all been reported to report fraud who are building up cases against them .if you have been targeted like me report it to report fraud .

Well here's a surprise....not their deadline to pay me back by yesterday has been and gone .they're still not replying to emails, phone calls go to answerphone

I had a porch replaced by select homes uk a couple of years ago along with a new front window. The work was good but we had a problem with a fanlight window in the new installation. It took a few calls but they eventually sent someone to fix the fanlight as we couldn't open it.
We also had them replace some tiles and boarding with hardyplanks. The work was completed by Scott who did a very good job. We now have a further problem with the fanlight window whereby half of the locking mechanism does not work. I contacted Lloyd Jennings who said he would get Scott to call in and have a look at it. This was in early July 2025. No date was arranged as i was told he was working out of the area despite living only a few miles from us. Several phone calls, text messages later i was continually getting the runaround with either having to leave voice messages or told he was still working out of area. Its a shame because the original work they did was good but after sales service is obviously not their strong point. Thinking back i should have seen the warning signs as they asked for more money up front for purchase of materials after the initial deposit. Reading the recent reviews i must count myself lucky not to be out of pocket to the tune of hundreds/thousands of pounds like some victims.

Complete scum who stole over £2000 from my widow mum. NO WORK NO REFUND just bullshit and lies

6.7.2024...was given quote £1970 for replacing back door and large window.....paid £980 deposit by bank transfer.
few days later a someone came and checked the measurements, I asked for an adjustment and payed £80 for this. Was told it would be installed on the 10th September ....on the 9thSept. had phone call to say accident in warehouse, windows damaged ,would reorder and install on the 10th October,nobody came ...kept phoning and leaving messages,next day someone called 'Jude from accounts' rang and said there had been big mixup between accounts and installation dept.and the work would be done on the 11th November.Nobody arrived ... despite numerous calls to them they would not answer, I left many messages,after many weeks was able to speak to a woman who said she would make sure someone would phone me .They Have Not Phoned!!!!
I am 80 yrs of age and my husband 83 ... How people like that can sleep at night i just can not comprehend ...

I would give a zero rating if I could. This company are completely untrustworthy. They applied the same method with me in that they wont accept credit cards and only accept cheques. I'm now £1500 out of pocket. If you're willing to gamble your hard-earned money away use them by all means but I'm now starting court proceedings.

Do NOT employ "Select Home UK" for any roofing or building work. They have, effectively, STOLEN £10,500 from me over the last year, during which time I have been fed an endless stream of lies and excuses, and been frequently ghosted, and STILL no work has been done!! Unbelievable. I am not entirely sure if the company is still trading, so if you should see the directors' names - ALESSANDRO BASILE and LLOYD JENNINGS (rogues) - attached to any other company, AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE. What a "wonderful" 80th Birthday present this is proving to be in 2025!!

If I could give a 0 I would. This company is a scam. Never installed the loft insulation at my 80 year old dad’s house. Promised a call back never did. Do not use!!!!

I payed them in June for a front door and never come back to install the door or refund.

Recommended via a friend and super happy with the results. Fascia soffits and guttering was done in the summer and saved me from painting them. Colour now matches with the windows and looks great.

My new porch was built last month and looks exactly how I wanted it , builders and installers were very hard working and clean and tidy.

See Nick's review of 08/11/24, I have had a very similar experience. I had a call from Select Homes a few weeks ago, offering vouchers against the cost of any work I wanted doing on a house. Last week I received another call from a female member of staff. This time using WhatsApp. The caller was identified as Nicky by WhatsApp. I said that I was interested in having Facia, Soffit and gutter work done.
Marlon visited the next day, did some rather incompetent measuring up and quoted what appeared a reasonable cost. He even let me negotiate down the price. He then said that I could not pay the 50% deposit by debit or credit card, as the company no longer offered that option. Instead there were the no protection options of a bank transfer or cheque. He then stated that the bank account was not that of Select home, but of a sister company, Leo Energy Systems Ltd. My bank have advised that this account was set up within 7 days and warned against any payments as they would likely be lost.
