1st Move International worked with me from the very first phone call explaining everything regarding the shipment of my belongings from the UK to the USA. They made the whole process easy and stress free from start to finish. My belongings arrived in the US within 5 weeks and were delivered straight to my garage. I would highly recommend them for any move abroad.

As if our move back to US was not…
As if our move back to US was not stressful enough, but 1st Move International Limited really assisted in the logistics of our personal and professional belongings without adding to the mayham of the move. Our belongings were pack on pallets carefully and wrapped to insure the protection of our property. The pick-up and delivering of our belongings were both timely and effortless. The team at 1st Move International limited we helpful, very professional and made our move a little bit easier.

Everything arrived safely and in good time. I had a slight problem with the final delivery of items into the house, but this was very promptly sorted out by the parties concerned. These were subcontractors to 1st Move International rather than the 1st Move itself.
The staff at Bristol, and the crew that came to collect my consignment were consistently excellent.

Collecting and packing goods end of Sept - excellent. Keeping in contact - excellent. Quality of packing when left UK - excellent. Goods arrived in around 3 months, but Australian customs delayed inspection as it was Christmas time. All goods delivered on 18 Jan - excellent. Unpacked and found several damaged items in the boxes that customs inspected - shame you have no control over them.

A great end to end service for shipping…
A great end to end service for shipping personal effects abroad to Cyprus.
The whole process from the initial enquiry up to completion was easy and painless. All the prep work for the estimate and shipping admin needed was all easily done online.
When the guys came to pack up my stuff it was really quick and easy and the final prep before loading included photos showing the sealed pallets ready to ship. I even managed to track the ship using its name. At arrival in Cyprus the agents dealt with customs and home delivery with speed and a good professional service. I expected the pallets to be offloaded to my driveway but the guys even unpacked and brought everything into the house for me. Easy, quick and professional from end to end. Thankfully for me this is the last move of this type but if i was doing it again I'd definitely use 1st move again.

Had issues with another removal company as im in the USA and my items were in storage in the UK. So I contacted this company and they were brilliant. They collected my items from storage within the week of contact. Kept me updated all the way through.

Do not use
Based on our personal experience, we would not choose this company again.
The only positive aspect of our move was the delivery teams in both the UK and Perth, who were polite and professional.
Our belongings departed the UK on 11th September and arrived to us in Perth on 19th January. During the sales process, we were given assurances over the phone with the sales team, regarding cost transparency, delivery times, container sharing, and the quality and ease of the insurance claims process. In our experience, these assurances were not reflected in the outcome.
We encountered additional charges that were not clearly explained upfront, delivery times that differed significantly from what we were led to expect, and some items arrived damaged. Since delivery, our attempts to contact customer service in the UK regarding an insurance claim have not received a response to date.
While the Perth delivery was handled by a partner company, the issues we are experiencing relate primarily to communication, clarity of costs, and post-delivery support from the original company. However, I did complain to the partner company based in Australia regarding their poor communication, and this was acknowledged and they apologised.
Overall, this review reflects our personal experience, and we would recommend that others carefully compare providers and ensure all costs, timelines, and claims processes are clearly documented before committing.

Highly Recommend 1st Move International! We used them for our move from London to South Carolina (US) and it was smooth and easy. The team is extremely friendly and in communication the entire time. If I had a question, they were speedy to respond. It took 7 weeks door-to-door (note: this was over the Dec holiday period). Everything arrived exactly as it shipped - no issues with missing or broken items.

Outstanding
The company were so helpful and transparent in all the phases of the move. It was a difficult time after losing a family member, but Tess in particular was able to guide us through each step. We had so much support, even for a small move, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend 1st Move again, they were fantastic.

Throughout the entire process
Throughout the entire process, I felt well taken care of. Relocating globally is a significant undertaking, but this team made it seem effortless. Everything we owned arrived intact and within the promised schedule. The service provided, from packing in the UK to unpacking in the UAE, was excellent. I wholeheartedly recommend their services.

Not happy with the price and revised price
I liked the fact they were very professional what I didn't like was you gave me a price but when you came and pa kaged everything up and then gave me a revised price my price doubled which I was not happy about. I ws now in a position that if I asked for my stuff back I was told that I would have to pay a storage fee or I had to go with it and pay the higher price. I asked for justification and got a bit off the new price but it was still no way neay my original qoatation.
