No Show for Confirmed In-Home Appointment

After completing the required "Pre-Visit Survey" and confirming the appointment for my 87-year-old mother, we received a text message 15 minutes before the end of the 4-hour appointment window instructing us to call Signify Health. The operator informed us that an agent was "probably" not available in my mother's area, which I pointed out would/should have been know at the time the appointment was made or at least earlier that day. They left my mother waiting for nearly 4 hours and then told me they were just scheduling. In other words, stop complaining about the lack of consideration and don't expect an apology. Aetna should contract with a different organization.

Signify NO health

These people must be paid by numbers of people they set appointments for and not on actually following up on scheduled appointment s. Most disrespectful organization I’ve ever dealt with. Scheduled appointments 8-noon. NOSHOW. 2nd appointment 12-4. NO SHOW. CONTACTING HUMANA TO GET RID OF SIGNIFY NOHEALTH AS THEY ARE INCOMPETENT and unreliable.

Had an appointment confirmed from 4-7 pm this Friday and I heard nothing feom this company until a text was received at 6:45 stating “It looks like your Signify appt. has not started. Pls call us at xxxxxxxxx if you have not heard…” . I called nd was passed from one person to another with the last person offering apologies, yada,yada,yada. Same old excuses nad apologies. I declined to reschedule. This company is fleecing the insurqnce companies or is colluding to make money. This service smells like SCAM.

Round 2:about a month after the visit …

Round 2:about a month after the visit that they forgot that were 2 folks signed up for a visit I called them back to see if they were ever coming back to see my wife,they will now need to set up an account for her,??? they already had her scheduled the last time when they screwed up.I truly believe their office people are smoking the local shrubbery. This call I got told they will escalate this and should only take about ( 4 ) weeks, W T F .will they hire just any body?
Hell I was a mechanic and I could do this good.
Better off using dr.goggle,

I've been living with COPD for years

I've been living with COPD for years. In comes their nurse and all of a sudden, I no longer have COPD. I've had lung scans for years, PFT's and several bouts of pneumonia.
Now my insurance doesn't want to pay for my rescue inhalers.
They are a lawsuit waiting to happen. Scammers.

I have received repeated calls from Signify Health

I have received repeated calls from Signify Health even though I have asked them to remove me from their list. What I have discovered is that they are contracted by the Humana Medicare Advantage Plan that I'm enrolled in. Humana schedules these home visits in the hopes of adding additional diagnoses to your medical records. Medicare will then pay Humana more for your care since you have additional diagnoses in your chart. So this is really a scam by insurance companies to get more money from medicare. My primary care doctor does the same exams and asks the same questions. He's a physician and can determine whether my complaint or illness rises to the level of treatment or monitoring. Do these home healthcare providers have that level of training? Remember everything in your medical records is permanent. If the Republicans have their way and remove the protections the ACA provides, you could experience much higher insurance rates or refusal to cover you based upon these home healthcare assessments. Especially since we know they are all being done for monetary gain. And on top of that, Signify Health is a private company that gathers and shares your personal medical history with whom? How much are they retaining, for what purpose and is their database secure?

Continues to harass me on the phone

Continues to harass me on the phone. I have a primary care physician my wife’s occupational therapist and I have a nurse who is right next-door to me. I have no need for any of the services they are offering. I simply told him that five different times after. After calling member services, they transferred me around and around and around pitching me and re-pitching me, but refusing to remove my number. All I can say is if a company has this lack of regard for somebody and causing them as much stress and stress, I would be nervous how their healthcare could possibly be. They act like a bunch of boiler room gangsters. I would be afraid to do business with them.

Just plain scammers

They called numerous times under the guise of health care on the messages. I finally answered the phone to be asked immediately to schedule an appointment for an in-home visit to get an assessment for Humana. They needed this to keep Humana "in the loop" with my healthcare. I told them they were a scam and that I was not interested a few times before they finally said they would make me down as declined. I did tell them that I had looked the company up on line and found deceptive practices and I called them a scam. I have had no more calls. Medicare sells our information after a deeper dive into this company and how they got my information.

Signify No Call No Show

Signfy called me constantly, told me that I had to have the in home visit per my insurance company. So my appointment has been scheduled for a month, today, day of my appointment, they were a no show, no call. I called Signify and was told to give them 15 minutes past the time, it's been an hour, still nothing. I ask to speak to a supervisor, was told one would be calling me, that was four hours ago, I called back to speak to a supervisor, was told supervisors don't speak to patients. I contacted Aetna to see if I had to do this, because I do see my PCP twice a year, was told I did not have to see Signify. Signify is a joke, unprofessional, and complete lack of patient services.

Virtual home visit was terrible

Dr Onikepe Adegbola performed my home virtual visit. At first we experienced audio difficulties. Her video showed only a partial view of her face. She had no personality and a lack of bedside manner. When we sorted out the audio, she turned off her video, so I couldn't see her at all. Her accent made it very hard to understand and with only part of her face showing at first (and later nothing visible), I couldn't use her mouth as a visual cue to figure out what she was asking.

She repeated several of her questions (as if she had forgotten that she had asked them of me) and asked for clarification on some of my answers....responses which were relatively simple and straightforward, but she couldn't understand.

Overall, I found the whole session very frustrating. While it may help some members, I truly believe my blood pressure increased during the call. It was a waste of my time.

They can improve by going out of business. I block every number they call from, and they just call me from a different number next time. I get emails and all sorts of annoying attempts to contact me, and I block all of them. I have repeatedly asked them to take me off of their contact list and they keep talking over me. Next I'm calling my insurance company to complain (they use my insurance company as their calling card but they are only connected tangentially.)

Scheduled for my loved one and had a good experience

Scheduled for my loved one and had a good experience with Signify Health. The scheduling process was simple and the clinician who conducted the in-home visit was nice, knowledgeable, and professional. They took the time to answer our questions and made the appointment informative. It’s good to see a healthcare service focused and care about us. Overall, very smooth and positive experience.

terrible company

OK about a week ago I get an email from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama telling me it it time to set up a wellness visit with signify. Let me say this I say my primary care 4 times a year, I see 2 specialist, I do not need some stupid nurse to come out to the house to give me a wellness care visit and get into what my health care care providers already do for me. I called Blue Cross and told them I don't need emails like this. Well today I get a phone call from Signify health demanding I set up an appointment next Monday. I told that person no and the man got angry with me and told me I had to do it. I told him no. I already received a 2nd phone call from them and now I am mad. This is a scam, I am sure blue cross pays these idiots and they don't do nothing but they get all up in your business. I don't need more health care providers up in my business.

MONEY GRAB

I am a PCP and would like to lodge a formal complaint against this company. One of the home health teams ordered a heart monitor on a 98-year-old patient of mine. This is incredibly inappropriate. Of course she has a nonurgent arrhythmia. She has a 98-year-old heart - I would never have ordered a Holter monitor on this patient. It is not in line with her goals of care. It is completely a money grab. On top of that, Signify's team has no intention of following up on these results or explaining them to the patient. This is wasteful care and solely an attempt to get money on their part. It creates excess work, cost and stress from the healthcare system. They should be ashamed of putting a 98 year old patient through this.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience, no explanation of what we were doing, literally had a stranger treating me like an Animal. Next time, I will go to the vet, this was contracted by my health insurance company, they are about to get an earful.

Appointment no show

Signify Health called me and scheduled an appointment for a home visit as part of my health insurance. Scheduled the appointment and they did not show. From my caller ID, called them and they said that not only did I not have an appointment, but that they never called.

Incompetent scheduler and unkept promises of a gift card

I set up an appointment for a home health visit. The rep asked about my wife scheduling too. I said sure. The rep then mixed up all of our information so that my wife, who didn't want an appointment, was scheduled and I wasn't. It took 3 phone calls to get the account info correct. THEN, they finally scheduled my appointment and promised a $75.00 gift card. The person who visited was terrific. BUT, I never received the card. My wife then, promised a $75.00 card, made an appointment. The person who came out told her she had kidney disease because of a specific count being over 90. The fact is that count over 90 means things are ok. it's only when it's under 40 that that is a problem. She never received her gift card either. No wonder people are hesitant to schedule a healthy home visit. If this is the company who is providing services for my Medicare Advantage provider next year, neither of us will do a healthy home visit.
