Beware of in Instagram and Facebook from Skin Renew (Middelburg)
After Reading an advertisement in Instagram and in all trust i made an orientation appointment with this skin specialist lady
Since i was coming from far i requested to be also treated if possible
My mistake, showed too much interest and trusted in this person
I wanted to be treated of some “old age spots” in my clivage
Price ( mentioned on the site seemed reasonable) was per spot after an initial amount.
It would be “ coagulatie”: burning with an electric neefje specific places.
At the end (of an interrupted appointment which was effective less than an hour)
She presented me a bill of €1400 euro
They were “ soo many” she could not count she said.
Later i counted less than 70 spots. Undoubtly evidence since each spot leaves a crust.
According to her price, the addition was far less than the price she charged me.
I felt uncomfortable to make a problem. The next day i made an appointment with a well
known dermatologist in Den Haag who refered me to their therapist. Today
I have been treated for a much larger area than my clivage ( namely my back ) for a total of €312 . Results are also much better and session was more professional .
My fault . I should have never gone to skin renew in Middelburg . I should have never allowed her to great me without a spoken price.
I feel important to make known this experience to warn people of what kind of professional ethics this skin specialist has.
When complaining with her she said, to summarize a long wassup discussion. She said “Some doctors charge for a facelift €3500 and others €35000”
Her remark just explains her attitude.
I was flabergastted.
